“Convienence is key”

I stayed at the Best Western with my daughters 10 & 12 yrs old. No complaints. Very clean, well managed. Rooms are equipped with coffee maker, mini fridge and free Wifi. The free continental breakfast was more than basic and offered a wide range of food both hot & cold. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There are 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. Kids loved this.It was was nice to relax in the hot tub after a long days walk through Disney.Coco's restaurant is located right beside the hotel. Quality food at a reasonable price (Great kids menu). It was only a few blocks walking distance to Downtown Disney. This was my 6th trip to this area,i have stayed in a different hotel each time. Best Western is my favorite thus far. Happy travels!

Room Tip: Request a room on the 3rd floor close to the pool and you will have a view of California adventure a...

The location of this hotel was a bit of surprise to us as we anticipated that it was just in front of the main gates of Disneyland. Upon arrival we realized we were actually on the other side almost like the back door to Disneyland. The walk wasn't too bad only about 15 minutes but it was through the California Adventure hotel then onto the Downtown Disney boardwalk. After 11am they currently were allowing guests to go directly into California Adventure which was handy if you had the Park Hopper. Due to the location there were fewer choices for eating although we did find a Food 4 Less down Katella away from Disneyland about 15 minute walk if you wanted fresh fruit or drinks, etc.
The hotel itself wasn't much to look at on the outside but our room was spacious, clean and I loved the decor colours. Room had the fridge & micowave too. Bed was comfy and lots of pillows. Free Wi-Fi worked quickly with no hang-ups. The pools & hot tubs were excellent after a long day at Disneyland even though they were right beside the street. The topiary in the pool garden was whimsical and cute. Air conditioner did not function well and was noisy so we had to turn it off at night but then the room gets so stuffy & muggy feeling. At times you could hear other guests in the next room but that is to be expected in such a large complex.
The front desk staff was excellent and were more than helpful to us. The only sad part of the hotel was the continential breakfast - carb city! This part can really use some attention. The selection was limited to one type of fruit, lots of donuts & danishes, bread for toast. Biscuits & gravy, pancakes or french toast and if you asked you could get hard boiled eggs. Coffee was very crude tasting.

I was looking for an affordable but decent place to stay within walking distance from the Anaheim Convention Center. As with other Best Western hotels, this one is not a luxury holiday destination, but provides the basics one would expect. A big bonus was the free Internet, as I understand that most other hotels in the area charge for Internet access.

We stayed at the Stovall,s in Oct.We booked with airmiles so the price was right.Check in was fast and front desk staff were very pleasant. We had a room on the third floor looking out towards the pool. The nights they had the fireworks at Disney land we could see them from our room if you stood out on the walkway which was very nice.It was a short walk to Disneyland if you cut threw Cali.Grands lobby .The breakfast was not very good.If you were hungry it would fill the gape but dont have high hopes. The eggs tasted as they were preboiled and kept in a jar.It just was nasty. The pools were very nice and kept clean. We had a interesting happening.A group of three young people came into the pool with a cooler of beer and were swimming and having fun. Then the hotel security came in and asked them what their room number was they ignored them and continued talking. She was on the walky talky asking the hotel office to call police. The young fellow then fessed up that he was a gate jumper and lived down the street. She then proceeded to ask us our room number which our key was on the table so she could see we were staying there.I little amusing as the one fellow just laughed it off and away they went.A entertaining afternoon. So in closing it was a alright stay but I will pass next time.

Room Tip: third floor rooms facing the pool you can see the fireworks at Disneyland.

The hotel location is okay with just a 15 minute walk to Disneyland we were lucky to have Art transportation to and from Disneyland with the bus stop right in front of the hotel. Check in and out was easy. The decor of the room and placement was nice. We had an ant problem in our room we had to be very careful no food was left on the counter top. Also our room was located next to the public laundromat and the noise from the washing and drying machine could be heard through the wall, other customers would hang out right in front of our room and smoke their cigarettes.
Would I stay here again yes but I should and will request a room away from the laundromat and not complain about it after.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the laundromat.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days while I was attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center. The hotel was clean and nice. The placement style of rooms is more open along the length of the building. There are elevators also. Parking was ample but there is a surcharge for the parking. Breakfast is included although the variety may not be too great. But its sufficient for fuel through the morning. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were particularly comfy. Hot water was not an issue at all. THe room had airconditioning, a microwave and a mini-fridge. All very valuable for families with kids. TV channel selection was adequate. I did not spend too much time on the tube. Two tables in the room. One more for office work and the other for maybe tea or coffee. Staff was great and allowed us to stay an additional hour since our flight was a lot later in the day. You can purchase shuttle tickets to get the parks in the hotel gift shop. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Jake.
