This property has modern décor and furnishings, but the rooms are small. This is an old budget hotel that was redone with nice floor coverings and furnishings, but other things were not remodeled. The whole property is cramped and the nice décor doesn't make up for the cramped layout. The windows are old and do not keep out the sounds of heavy traffic from Katella Blvd and the busy commercial area. (Very loud and busy well past 2 am.) The air conditioner/heater is an old and noisy under-window unit. The pool and hot tub is small - hot tub is max 6 persons. There are only a very few deck chairs. The entire hotel has just one shaky cart for hauling luggage, no bellhop on staff. The location is perfect for Disneyland and there are excellent restaurants within a very short walk. There is a very small no frills on-site restaurant. The staff was friendly and eager to please.

Room Tip: Ask for a room as far from the street as possible.

Loved this hotel! Great staff, great restaurant and great rooms! We felt very welcome here with the staff greeting us each time we entered the property. We were a family of four staying in a 2 bedded room which felt squashed with all our luggage. We highly recommend indigo and thank the staff for our wonderful experience!

Hotel Indigo was fabulous on our recent 6 night stay from 30/6/2014 to 6/7/2014. Staff were extremely helpful, obliging and very friendly. We arrived at midday after a very long flight from Australia, where none of us had gotten much sleep, and no questions asked they let us check in early, so we could go and rest. Staff were very caring and happy, always willing to help if needed. The rooms were very cool - loved the wall mural and the graphic pattern wallpaper on the walls - very arty and edgy. Rooms were immaculate. Beds were extremely comfortable, and plenty of pillows for a restful night's sleep. Great family friendly location - easy 10 minute walk to Disneyland and California Adventure Park. There didn't seem to be a designated shuttle to the parks, but buses left regularly from the stop a couple of minutes walk away, if you didn't wish to walk. We found it to be a nice walk, and no problems for the kids (6 & 8). Many families were walking home, even late at night, and its such a family friendly area that we never felt unsafe walking in at night. Within a couple of minutes walk are 2 convenience stores, Garden Walk shops & Cinemas, and many restaurants including Bubba Gumps, The Cheesecake Factory, Dennys, I Hop, Captain Kids, Subway etc. As well as other restaurants from different cuisines. We didn't dine at the in house restaurant during our stay, as the menu that was in our room seemed a bit limited, but would certainly try it on a longer stay. Free undercover parking was awesome, and a big saving as other hotels in the area charge big $$ for parking. Free Wi-Fi was also fabulous, and well utilised by us. Unfortunately we had 2 evenings where the internet would not connect for a short while, but the staff were on to it straight away, and fixed it promptly. Pool and spa were great, and the pool area had a nice undercover shade gazebo for parents to chill under while watching the kids, which was nice. We had a minor issue with the door to our room jamming, and the blind not rolling up, but they were very quickly seen to and fixed. The bathrooms were lovely, and had an abundance of lovely fluffy towels, good lighting etc. Unfortunately the shower was a little difficult to get to the right temperature and took a while to heat up, which was frustrating when you just wanted to jump in the shower after a long day at the Theme Parks. Once hot it was lovely though, and also had a hand held attachment as well. Rooms were made up immaculately each day, with fresh towels, shampoos, soaps etc. Very comfortable and welcoming to come home to after a busy day. Our room had a view to the Disneyland fireworks each evening which was lovely. There is also a light and water show hourly out the front of the hotel in the evenings which was very cool to watch. Overall a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo, and I would highly recommend it! Very affordable prices were also great.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Disney fireworks views!

This is one of the best hotels under $200 that I have stayed at. The rooms were roomy and clean. The food prompt and tasty. The survive was exceptional. We stayed there with our basketball team for a local tournament. It was a very good choice.

In an area surrounded by large name brand hotels, it was good to stay in this small boutique hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were good size and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable. My minor complaints were that the hotel seemed understaffed (the common areas were not kept as clean as they should be) and the internet service was down for several hours one night. If you need to stay near Disneyland, this is a good spot.

I thought that the whole experience was great overall but I especially liked how comfortable the beds were and how generous Arthur was when we got there. I will recommend this establishment to many of my friends and families when they are in need of a hotel. It is a great location in terms of food places nearby and everything needed was close by. As soon as I entered the room I immediately felt right at home as the ambience expressed, in every aspect, great hospitality.

We stayed here for 2 nights and I would come back to the Indigo without a doubt. Staff is very helpful, design is fresh and all appears brand new and clean. Excellent location.
It is a 15min walk to Disney Main Gate. I decided to drive my wife and the kids and drop them in front of Disney, take the car back to the hotel and run back to Disney alone, which takes less than 10min (without kids). In the evening, reverse process. I have seen many tired parents carrying their tired children back to their hotels, so I preferred to use the car but still park for free in the hotel garage. Yes it has underground parking with access to the elevator, what more can you ask for?

Room Tip: High floor rooms have less noise from above (wooden floors), also you might be lucky and get a room...
