My family and I stayed here the last week of July for 3 nights. The front desk people were very friendly and check in was easy also. We checked in at 3pm and our room was ready; we ddn't need to wait which was a plus for us since we have 2 kids. Room always cleaned daily, great walking distance to Disneyland-- about 10 min walk considering traffic, nearby restaurants, comfortable beds, no continental breakfast but we brought our own-- had microwave n lil freezer... Also had water park but we ddn't get a chance to take our kids there... We stayed in building 1 facing disneyland which is a plus because we had a great view of the nightly fireworks. It was loud but we really ddn't mind at all. Also the hotel was quiet at night... Overall, staying here for the very 1st time was excellent and we will be staying here again in our future travels. I recommend this hotel to anyone that has family...

Room Tip: choose building 1 facing disneyland

Upon check in my reservation was not found despite my continued contact with the hotel. This was no ones fault and was eventually found and pulled up in the back. However, how it was all handled was beyond amazing and not only did the front desk gal handle the whole situation with patience and confidence but never for a moment made me panic. Within minutes I was heading to the exact room we wanted! Thank you HojoAnaheim for making our stay such a comfortable and memorable one.

Stayed here solely based on the Tripadvisor reviews. I think my expectations were way too high. Spent two nights here in a room with two skylights with NO window coverings. There was no way you could come back from Disneyland in the middle of the day and rest in the darkness of the room because the sun was shining through the skylights. That 5am wakeup call I didn't request was provided by the morning sunrise. Very odd. When I mentioned it to the front desk I was told the hotel "was built in the 60s". Ok...that was 40+ years ago. Surely someone other than me has complained about the skylights and the brightness of the room, so why not add window coverings??? The room is definitely old fashioned and the beds are super squishy. It was also blisteringly hot when we arrived and even though we cranked up the a/c, the air didn't blow anywhere near the beds. I requested a fan, which promptly arrived at our door and provided the air circulation we needed, but with the a/c and the fan, it was quite noisy. The bathroom is very tiny and the sink is very small and there is little counter space. There was also a maintenance man whistling through the hallway at 7:30am one morning. Very annoying. And when we opened our door to our corner room (5-211), the housekeeping cart was blocking our exit. Yes, it's close to Disneyland, and there are several places to eat within walking distance and yes, the price was cheap enough (we were given a $50 credit for the skylight issue), but it's not enough for me to want to stay here again or to recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: DO NOT stay in a second floor room of one of the two-story buidlings unless you love skylights...day...

My husband and 3 daughters stayed here during our vacation to Disneyland. We absolutely loved this hotel. We were welcomed into our room with a basket of goodies. Mickey mouses for the kids and champaign for husband and I, in honor of our anniversary. The room was so nice and clean and the beds were super comfy. I was thrilled to have a Keurig in the room! We had a view over looking the garden pool. The walk to main gates is a short 1/2 mile. We have stayed at other hotels further down Harbor with shuttles, but we really preferred the quick walk. Castaway Cove was so much fun too. This is a great hotel choice for a family vacation to the happiest place in the world!!! We can't wait to go back! Thank you HOJO for the memories :)

For the very little dollars you spend here, you get so much back! The facilities, cleanliness of the rooms, great friendly staff, location to the parks. We'll definately be back. Oh, and our kids loved the water park which made us happy.

Room Tip: Near the back pool are great.

We stayed for 6 nights. Great location- walking distance to Disney and different places to eat.
Staff were more than happy to help with anything we needed.
It was nice to have the sundry shop downstairs for little things.
We went to WallMart at Anaheim Plaza to stock up on fruit, bread etc
The fire works are super loud so worth paying the money for a Disney facing room and getting to see them.
My least favourite thing was the bathroom- really small and felt there wasn't even enough room to get changed in there.
But- was happy that there was somewhere for my kids to play outside of the hotel room and just let loose after being in stroller and park lines, it was nice for them to play at the water park and they loved it!!
