“Perfectly Located”
Reviewed 8 January 2012

This is the ideal location for anyone going to Disneyland. You literally can't get closer unless you stay onsite. It IS across the street from the park. A nice touch is the juice and cookies available around the clock at the front desk. Cold Stone Creamery is located at the front of the hotel and your room key gets you a 10% discount. Free wifi and parking plus a computer in the lobby to use/print from if needed. The room itself is pretty basic motel-ish. The bunk bed is nice for the kids and with fun night lights built in to the wall. The TV needs to be updated badly especially the one in our room which is programmed to turn on to a channel that doesn't work but just displays snow and on about volume 100 so you have to be careful or otherwise it will wake up the kids! The welcome basket we got was really nice with oranges, bottles of water and a bottle of wine in it! There are many restaurants nearby but you probably won't need them because the free breakfast and supper is great! You can eat a big meal at the beginning of your day, take off to the park and then come back in the afternoon to do it all again. Morning had eggs of some sort and bacon or sausage plus waffles and cereal. Supper was kid-friendly foods (i.e. hot dogs, mac and cheese, tacos) and salad. The pool was nice, reasonably heated and a small but functional hot tub. Even though it is in the middle of the parking lot it doesn't really feel like it. The only negative would be the laundry room. The dryer that I had did not work so we ended up hanging everything around our room and turning up the heat (the housekeeping staff must have thought we were crazy!). It also wouldn't have been so great if you were located in one of the rooms further away from the dining room.

Room Tip: The lower number rooms (i.e. 201, 202, etc.) are closest to the front/dining room and there are only...

We absolutely loved our stay at the Park Vue. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. The free meals and close access to the park cannot be beat! We will stay there again!

The simple fact is you can't beat the location of this hotel. Right across from the entry into Disneyland therefore no worries about parking or transfers so when you have had enough for a while you can get back to your hotel without lining up for a bus. The rooms were large, clean and pretty modern. The breakfast is good and all you need. They even had a simple dinner available which was all we wanted after a day in the park.

The room was clean and right across the entrance from Disneyland. Between the free meals, water bottles and free parking it makes it worth it to pay a little bit more than to stay at a cheaper hotel that is further away.

Checked in Jan 1st 2012 and checked out Jan 4th. My family booked this hotel because of the free parking, free breakfast and the reviews of the staff.

The room was clean although a strong chemical smell. We always bring a candle to take the room smell away. We had two queen bed room that was very spacious but really needed a small table instead of a desk.

Our biggest complaint was the hot water never got hot (just luke warm) and went cold rather quickly. We voiced concern at the end of our stay so they could have it fixed for the next guest.

Second complaint was the free breakfast. They had pancakes, waffles, donuts, biscuits and gravy fruit, and omelettes. Our problem was the omelette. The were cheese omelettes but the cheese was Cheez Whiz. It had to be that. It has a distinct taste that you never forget as a kid. It might be tasty on a Ritz Cracker, but not melted in an omelette.

We would definitely stay again based on the cleanliness of the room and the location. We have stayed at the Tropicana a couple doors down before but this was cleaner and the Tropicana now charges for parking.

The room also came with a welcome basket with 2 bottles of water, fruit and a bottle of white wine.

Sorry to be all over the place but writing what comes to mind about the place.

Room had plenty of shampoo and bar soap - replenshied daily. Our family of 4 probably had 8 bottles of shampoo in our room per day. We never needed anything (except for hot water).

I highly recommend this hotel unless you are used to the Grand Californian or other 5 star hotels

Room Tip: if you are traveling with other families call at 11am the day of check in to see if you can get conn...

This hotel was perfect for our family with a queen and a bunk bed for our 2 and 4 year old. The room was a little small, but was just right for us. They have a heated pool and jacuzzi that was great for nights. The staff was extra friendly and helpful and made the stay even more enjoyable. The continental breakfast and dinner weren't anything fancy, but saved us a lot of money and there was always something for everyone in our family to enjoy. You can't beat the convenience to Disneyland and they have a small store that sells $.99 water so you can buy some before going into the park. There is also a Cold Stone which had excellent service located in front of the hotel. They also have a computer and printer available for guest use. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely our first choice for our next Disneyland trip!

This old-fashioned California hotel is perfectly located by the gates to Disneyland. The hotel is clean and comfortable, though nothing fancy. The prices are good. When the kids were small, we used to come back to the room for a nap in the middle of the day. It made a big difference, and we never once had one of those screaming, overtired kids you see in Disneyland in the late afternoon. One warning: do NOT eat in any of the restaurants nearby on South Harbor Blvd. They are uniformly horrible. Main street Disney, although overpriced, is a better bet.

Room Tip: The rooms with 2 queen beds easily fit parents and 2 kids.
