The hotel itself is fine. The room and the grounds were well kept and quiet. Everything worked except for the iPod docking station which was broken. But, to me this is a minor detail.
The real problem here is the customer service. Perhaps, being that you're here for Disneyland one would expect a decent level of service. In my opinion this was not the case at all. In brief:
- Didn't have the correct room upon check in even after I confirmed reservation on phone (2nd floor no fireworks view), which was corrected but a bad way to start
- No answer when I called for room service (Called at 6pm; I literally let it ring for 10 min. just to see if anyone would answer)
- Called front desk to ask about room service was immediately put on hold and after 5 min hung up in frustration. (They never called me back)
- Upon check out the front desk staff was immersed in conversation. When I asked if I could get a receipt or if I needed to do anything they dismissed me and said a receipt would be mailed to me.
It was only a day, and I'm happy about that. I wasn't expecting 5 star treatment but a little interest in the comfort of their guests especially being a Disneyland area hotel where there are so many options would've been nice. Will not be back again.More
