I stayed for 3 nights with other friends on a fishing trip. Patty, who greeted us on our arrival on a rainy night from southern California, was so helpful with information of the area. This was our first time in the area. She informed us that breakfast started at 6 AM. When I told her that we were leaving at 6:30 to go fishing, she asked what time we would like breakfast ready 5 or 5 :30 AM. We chose 5:30 AM, and the next morning at 5:30, when we arrived, breakfast and coffee were ready.
On the second night, our group of 7 decided to sit around and chat. We decided to use the closed breakfast area to sit and chat because our rooms were not big enough for all 7 of us. Immediately upon sitting down and chatting, Patty offered us coffee and snacks. She made coffee for us and hot water for tea. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed ourselves sipping on coffee and tea and munching on snacks that they had available. All the staff there were so cheerful and helpful. The essence of small town hospitality. We loved it.
The rooms were big and comfortable. Very quiet even though it is right next to the freeway. It does get a little noisier once the place fills up with people. The walls are a little thin. The room service was great and our rooms were clean upon returning from our fishing outing. They also offer a freezer to store our fish. Overall this was great place to stay. I have traveled to many places and this was a very clean and quiet place to stay. There are good local restaurants close by and a Safeway across the street. Gas stations with reasonably priced gas right next to the place. What more can you ask for?
