This place has great coffees, tea, pastries, etc. AND an enclosed dog yard with table and chairs (for dogs who don't get along with other dogs?), a dog water bowl, as well as dog welcome general outdoor seating, and a fountain which my dog prefers. It's located on a frontage road right by the freeway but is surprisingly quiet. The outdoor seating is partly shady, partly in the sun. Parking is ample. There's a lot less of the chi-chi preciousness that one sometimes finds in some upscale or chain coffee stores. These are local people. The small surrounding neighborhood is old cabins turned into small shops or offices in groves of old redwoods, a fine place to stroll with your coffee if you don't want to sit. A fine place to meet a friend for conversation, or simply to be alone to think.
