Being a Hilton Honors member and Hilton Grand Vacations Club owner, we try to frequent Hilton hotels. This hotel was HORRIBLE! The carpet outside of the elevators was badly stained, as was the hallway carpet. Not lightly, these were filthy dirty and the stains were black. When brought to the attention of the front desk staff, was told the carpets were cleaned every 2 weeks, but "it was difficult to keep up with the carpet because of hotel occupancy." Two of the four elevators were "not in service," which meant all patrons had the use of only two elevators. The buffet dishes were Dixie plates and plasticware, unless you were there early enough, and then only if you ordered your eggs. Coffee was available with styrafoam cups which collapsed when you put the lid on them. The final straw was seeing the staff rinse dishes in a 5-gallon bucket INSIDE the dining room, approximately 5 feet away from where people were eating. Brought all this to attention of Hilton Honors, the hotel manager never responded back to them.

I think everyone who has stayed in the Embassy Suites understands that this hotel is for families!! So some of the complaints about kids and stuff is not really the hotels fault!

The breakfast is good specially the made to order omelettes!! Place is close to restaurants and the Santa Anita shopping mall and a golf course. Also easy access to 210 freeway. The service was also great. I forgot to bring my razor and they promptly provided me with a disposable razor and shaving cream. The wireless access is easy and has good speed.

The only thing that I did not like was the rooms. They are outdated, old, smelly. Bathroom is small and fixtures are really old.

This hotel was clean and very comfortable. The only problem I had with it was not the fault of the hotel, but the parents who do not supervise their children. The breakfast was excellent but spoiled by kids handling the food and putting it back, putting it in their mouths at the counter, playing with the food and being unruly. Very unsanitary. Staff expected parents to take control but they just looked the other way. Staff needs to step in and manage this becuase it is a health hazard.

The rooms are spacious and the rate is better than ok, but the customer service is atrocious.
In a nutshell, the AC is always a problem and the women at the front desk are extremely rude and never helpful! Then again what can you expect when the manager is just as unsavory and anything but apologetic when I expressed my complaints.
His bedside manner was the worse I have ever encountered as far as hospitality managers go! He was adement in explaining to me that I was at fault and not his staff, to the point of offering to waive the fee if I wanted to check out. We stayed a total of 6 days instead of 10 and although we did stay at the Embassy Suites at LAX for 4 days previous to this one, it seems to me that this Hilton Chain is not in the business of keeping their customers happy and coming back.
Last but not least, we paid for our stay and he took the time to call me after he accompanied my daughter and I upstairs to see for himself that the key was not working, to inform me that I was wrong again because the key I was using was from the previous room we were evacuated from because of maintenance issues! He can rest assure that I will be writing an extended and detailed letter to the corporate office and hopefully they will all take a course on good customer service.

These were all the issues:
-The keys are always a problem.
-The AC in the gym is never at a comfortable temperature.
-One day the room attendant just left clean towels and forgot to make 1 of the 2 beds.
-She did not clean the bathroom, leave coffee, cups or clean glasses to replace the
dirty ones she took.
-The internet is complimentary, but it drops every 15 minutes and you have to put in the
password again! (make sure you carry it with you at all times)
-You don't get an internet signal in the bedroom, just the living room.
-The are never towels or cleaning supplies in the gym to wipe off other peoples sweat,
from the machines.

Hope this helps and saves you from an unpleasant vacation.

I generally enjoy the Embassy Suites as a chain, due to the free breakfast and the free happy hour - I'm a sucker for the simple things. At $110, this was pretty much the right price point. Anything more, and I would've been upset by the very dated decor, and the sticky floors in the 'dining' area. This place will get the job done if you're looking for a place to rest your head for a night and not get raked over the coals by a breakfast and a couple of drinks at night.

The property is very nice, the service is adequate and the location is convenient, but......this place is in sore need of an update. Paint, and finishes are all dated. The carpet in the common areas is absolutely disgusting - beyond cleaning. The wireless is quick and it's nice to have a full desk to work on. I would prefer a newer property with up to date amenities and decor, and the are many around.

Our daughter attends Azusa Pacific University and this Embassy Suites is located about eight miles away. This is our fourth stay here in a two-year period. The property is clean, comfortable and is located in a safe area. Across the street there is Starbucks, several restaurants, and other retail businesses. Two miles down the road is Westfield Shopping Center, which has a movie theater, bookstore, Cheesecake Factory, and other department stores. A block away is Wells Fargo Bank, AAA, and other businesses - just a great location to be in! The 210 exit is about one-half mile away.

The daily breakfast is very good, there is something for everyone. There are omelets cooked to order, scrambled eggs are ready made, bacon, sausages, toast, bagels, muffins, three kinds of juices, fresh fruit, fruit salad, several cold cereals, yogurt, milk, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. The service staff was very friendly and kept all tables cleared of used plates and utensils

There is free wi-fi in every suite. If you need a computer to use there are two computers and printers for guests use (no charge) in their 'business center' located next to the check-in desk. This is very convenient because on one trip I did not bring my computer and at the last minute I had to print out a boarding pass. The computer and printer there enabled me to get what I needed (no charge).

Super Shuttle from this hotel to the Ontario Airport will run you about $45 for the first guest and $10 for each additional guest (going to the same location on the same trip). For guests who are driving, there is plenty of parking right in the front parking lot, which is well lit. There is additional parking in the back but that is a bit inconvenient. One thing this Embassy Suites lacks is someone to assist you with your baggage. There are luggage carts for you to 'help yourself' but most guests that stay here seem to be able to manage their one or two luggage pieces.

Rooms are very clean and kept well maintained, even though some of the bathrooms may seem slightly dated. It is a nice set up having two flat screens in every suite. If one person needs to sleep earlier and the other sleeps later, there is a door that separates the bedroom from the living room/sitting area. There is a mini-refrigerator, small microwave and coffee maker in every suite.

The sofa bed in the living room area is a fold out bed, just in case you want additional bedding in addition to the bed(s) that are in the bedroom.

For each of our stays (the breakfasts are included), we paid about $150 for the three of us. This is one hotel that we will definitely return to. So far we have not been disappointed.
