When I made the reservation I was told that the only thing they had was two queens but there would probably be a king room available when I checked in. At check-in I asked and was told there were several kings but I couldn't have one. Why not? Because my room was booked as part of a wedding party room block and the front desk couldn't change rooms there were part of room blocks. Why not? "Policy". Who can make the change? "Only the sales department and they aren't here on weekends".
So here we are, in a room with two queens that would be much more likely for them to rent while kings are available and we can't have one.
The hotel is OK. Standard Holiday Inn Express level, clean but nothing special. It sure would have been better to have a king room.More
