“Didn't try (enough) to make noisy guests be quiet”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 December 2009

There was a noisy group of college kids in the next room--they had loud music on and were talking loudly. At 11 PM I called the front desk, and asked if they could be moved to a different room. They were, but it didn't help--their friends were in many different rooms, and they were talking loudly in the hallways, too. At 3 AM it was still too noisy to sleep. I had to yell at the people at the front desk; and even so it took another half hour for things to quiet down.

The coffee was bad, too -- very weak.

I was very impressed with this motel. The room was clean, modern and well appointed. The beds were clean and comfortable. We didn't have time to use the outdoor pool/hot tub, but it looked nice. I'd say, for the price it was the best deal in a motel I've seen in a long time.

We arrived to blood stains on the sheets. We were given new sheets to put on ourself. We were told by the night manager that the day manager would give us a credit in the morning. The day manager acted like it was no bid deal because the sheets were washed. Regardless, if there is blood you THROW THEM AWAY!!!!!!!!! We have yet to receive a credit for this room. DON'T STAY!!!!!! P.S. There was hair in the other bed!!!!!!!!!

We were pleasantly surprised when we stayed at this Motel 6.

We travel a lot, and are on a budget, and do know that Motel 6 is always a good rate, and clean, but the rooms can be tiny and the amenities very few.

THIS Motel 6 surpassed many 3 Star hotels!
It is quite new, and the lobby alone is beautiful!

The room was LARGE and very nice! Everything worked and it was clean and comfortable.

I rate it a 5 here because although it is obviously not a Hilton, if you stay here, you will have a far superior experience than most Motel 6's.! You will feel pampered.

Great staff and great stay!

  • Liked — the price and the large room
  • Disliked — can't think of anything

We stayed here because they take dogs and it was near an event we had attended. The hallways reeked of cigarette smells. The bed was hideous - lumpy and cheap, and the pillows were flat. The hotel was noisy: until about midnight, trains went by (RIGHT by) frequently. Then people started coming in in the middle of the night. And somewhere in the floor above us, we heard what sounded like a bowling ball being dropped repeatedly through the night. It was the most sleepless night we've ever had, and we've traveled all over the US and Europe.

  • Liked — They take dogs.
  • Disliked — It was incredibly noisy.

What a pity that Motel 6 wasted all their money on up-to-date decor, nice staff and cleanliness then blew it with super hard (not just firm) beds and pillows that were only around one inch thick. With such a good price and small but architecturally innovative rooms, I'd really want to stay here again, but I couldn' sleep all night. No matter what position I took, whichever part of my body was in contact with the bed really really hurt after being in touch with the hard matress; it was like sleeping on the floor. I tried to fold the thin pillow in half to put under my head, but then it too was too hard.
