“Been eating here since 1972”

No, I do go home sometimes! It is consistently good and you know what you're going to get! The menu is big and there is lots to chose from, a person will not go away hungry!

“Old Town Auburn Mexican Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2013

This location of Cafe Delicias has been there forever. It has a homey, cafe atmosphere. The food was good but average. The service was good and they accommodated us with a table in the area they weren't seating yet, as a group of 5 adults and 2 active children. If you're looking for Mexican food in Auburn's old town area it's a nice little place to people watch out the windows while you enjoy the Mexican food. I had a chicken taco in a flour tortilla as I was watching my calories. I wouldn't recommend this dish as it was too plain, unless you're happy with putting on some pico de gallo salsa to season it. My family had enchiladas and said they were good. The prices are good. Paid $68 for 5 adult plates, extra flour tortillas, 2 kid size meals, and soda pop for 6.

“Unfortunately CD has evolved into Just Another Mexican Restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2012

Not bad but not great. If you have a craving for a reasonable plate of tacos, a burrito or any other similar Mexican dish, then by all means stop in. Reasonable food, service and prices for a sit down meal.

“Reputation Oversold”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2012

This used to be a favorite, but the food and service has gone down hill, for my taste. What was a good value has become just another Mexican Restaurant.

“Addict - Must Have”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2012

I have to get my Cafe D fix on a regular basis - love their food, my favorites are their Chile Relleno and Shredded Beef Tacos, the Chimi for my wife - if you consider South of the Border great Mexican food, than the simple techniques and scaled down setting will not be for you - No bells and whistles, no fluff - just good food
