Sweetpea's was recommended to us by our Best Western hotel. It's not fancy not the outside but the parking lot was packed full which is always a good sign. Huge menu-omelet specialties-best gravy I have ever had. We will go back when we are in the area!

We visit Sweetpea's often with our family and I can tell you they put on a great spread - plenty of food and well prepared, with prices that are very reasonably.

The food is freshly prepared and the service is very fast and very friendly. It's not fancy but it is homey and welcoming. The portions are very large.

It can get very noisy, especially on the weekend when it is very busy.

This stop was unexpected and unplanned but so glad we did stop. Excellent service and food. Actually too much for us to eat and unable to take along. The value was great as home cooked meal. We were also looking for another place of business and our server was so kind as we are from out of town and he sat down and drew a map. If driving by on I-80 will stop again no doubt about it. It is a quaint restaurant and many things too look at and read if should choose to. The menu is large and had a hard time choosing which breakfast we wanted.

A colleague and I were passing through town and stopped here for lunch. The wait staff here combined with a hearty lunch reenergized us!
I enjoyed Raynaldo's Burger. It is a large portion with fresh avocado, bacon and cheese. The fresh brewed iced tea was also good. My colleague had the SweetPea sandwich, which she enjoyed.
The food was hearty, but what made this place great is the staff who greet the customers like they are old friends who are genuinely glad to see again.
Give this place a shot...you'll be glad you did!
