The 1st Friday of every month they have a Mariachi band playing. Loud but fun. Some of the best Fijitas we've ever had. The place was packed. Every staff member was doing their best. Sorry we can't go back. If you're in town---GO THERE

We had lunch at Juanito's, and our food and service were outstanding. The waitstaff and the owner seemed to be focused on making sure that everything was right! Prices were reasonable. The guacamole salad--which came with my husband's meal--was the best that I have ever had. I had the green chile stew, and it was very good. We would highly recommend this restaurant!

This is really good mexican food. They have incredible barbacoa and great mixed drinks. I don't recommend the queso, but everything else I have had was fantastic. Their prices are very reasonable and the outside patio is great!

Now Juanito's Mexican Restaurant we were confused by the name change but went in, met the new owner Juan, formerly the head chef, who has worked there for 18 years. From tamales to pork chops and fish tacos the menu is extensive, and Juan makes you feel at home. Don't miss this place if you are in or near Alimosa!

Wow! We loved this place. It was clear when we walked in that this place is a favorite of the locals. It was clearly packed with local patrons. When we walked in, we were welcomed like long lost family.

The waitress sat us at the table of our choice and then patiently explained all the varied choices on the menu. I love the fact that they do not use lard in their beans.

The food was wonderful! Each of the four of us ordered something different. They even altered some of the choices slightly to meet our needs.

After enjoying the meal, we chatted a bit to Juanito, the owner (The Restaurant is now called Juanito's). He told us how he had come to own the place after starting there as a dish washer eighteen years ago. What a nice man.

We would STRONGLY recommend this place for local color and excellent food and service! And.. it was very reasonably priced.
