Sandy and Ernie are so nice and welcoming to their special log home! We spent Christmas at their cabin and thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hot tub, jacuzzi tubs, hot choco, and food were all amazing! Thank you so much! We will be back. M & A U from COS

Sandy and Ernie, proprietors of the Mountain Comfort Bed and Breakfast, really go out of their way to make sure that you have a wonderful time. As an example, Sandy baked us an anniversary cake and printed pictures of our anniversary dinner. The bed and breakfast itself is nice with great mountain views and comfortable, well-decorated rooms. The breakfast was enjoyable, but not gourmet. Last but not least, the stay includes access to the "Cadillac of hot tubs", an experience not to be missed!

Myself , my 2 sisters and mother stayed at Mountain Comfort Bed & Breakfast in early April while visiting my brother and sister-in-law and new baby. Ernie and Sandy could not have been more welcoming!! The Inn was immaculate, warm, cozy, private, relaxing, beautiful views of the snow capped mountains, and an easy trip into Breckenridge for skiing! Breakfasts were delicious as were the early or late evening desserts!! The outdoor hot tub was very relaxing under the moonlit Colorado sky. Coming from the North East, we had a faboulous time and would recommend staying here when traveling to the mountains. It is a wonderful place to stay whether staying with family or for a romantic getaway with the fireplaces in the bedrooms and flat screen TV's and private baths! We hope to return again in the near future.

We knew we had found a special place from the first time we called Sandy at Mountain Comfort. Warm and enthusiastic, she happily told us about her lovely home and the nearby area. My husband and I were looking for a place near Breckenridge for a weekend with our two young kids; we have found a place we want to return to again and again!

We were warmly greeted by Sandy and her husband, Ernie, upon arrival. We took a tour of the *sparkling* new home. It is *so clean* and lovingly decorated, fitting in perfectly with its mountain surroundings; the view from the huge living-room windows is spectacular!!

We headed for the Wilderness Room, which is cozy and has a great view of the mountains; our daughter stayed in the oh-so-cute adjoining Gingerbread Room, which has four bunk beds and is set up just right for kids with books and toys. We enjoyed talking with Sandy and Ernie, and shared a scrumptious chocolate-and-raspberry cake at the end of the evening. Then, my husband and I headed for the Cadillac of Hot Tubs!! On the back balcony under the stars, with soft music and lights and lots of jets, we totally relaxed -- and decided to extend our stay another night!! :-)

The breakfasts were lovely, with home-baked breads, fruit, hot coffee and omelets. We went off to Breckenridge, returning "home" after a long day to a warm welcome. Ernie and Sandy exude hospitality. They are passionate about ensuring that their guests have a wonderful time. We felt like we had met family members we didn't know we had! My daughter wants to go back and play with "Miss Sandy," who has the perfect touch with kids!

Give them a call, you will enjoy it! And, ask for either their military discount or a punch card, which you can fill up for a free stay. We look forward to going back to the oh-so-comfy Mountain Comfort retreat!

I would recommend the Mountain Comfort B&B to anyone looking for a great mountain escape. It's convenient access to major ski resorts, great snowshoeing / hiking trails, and other mountain fun makes it easy to get away for the weekend. The breakfasts were fabulous and the Inn Keepers were incredibly friendly. Whether you simply want an easy way to hit the slopes or hiking trails, or are looking to relax and sit by the fire, this is the place to stay.

We had a wonderful getaway in Fairplay, CO, at this B&B. The owners are the most hospitable hosts I have encountered in a B&B. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains, with a fireplace, flat screen TV, and jacuzzi tub. Last, the breakfasts and late night snacks were amazing and filling. I highly recommend this B&B for a getaway, whether it be a romantic getaway, time with friends or family, or even a small wedding. We will be going back!

My husband and I haven't been able to take a trip by ourselves in a few years. We needed to get away and just enjoy life a little bit. Staying at the Mountain Comfort Inn was amazing. We felt very comfortable and very relaxed. We will deifinetly be coming back to Alma. Ernie and Sandy are outstanding Inn Keepers. The food was wonderful and the view is breathtaking.
