I had a great time at the St. Regis in Aspen. All the services were great and the servers were nice. Pande helped us out a lot. We got drinks at the bar and sat at the hot tub. They even stored our skis! I was wowed and would definitly comeback.

I visited aspen last month and stayed at st regis for 4 nights in the suite room. The room was clean and spacious. Service was of a high standard. Staff were most helpful when we had to change our travel plans due to weather. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting aspen!

The hotel was top notch with no problems to speak for.
Although there was no designated lounge for the SPG members, they do provide members free ˜Plat Breakfast˜ in the Trecento Quindici restaurant. The check In was done fast and efficiently by the lovely Amanda and her trainee Lorenzo. The Brazilian butler assigned to my room was efficient, and the room, although not upgraded to a suite, was fine. The In house Remede spa offers an oxygen room, and an amazing waterfall pool (that was bait cold) great for Apres skiing.
I would stay here again although I am curious as to whether the failure to give a platinum suite upgrade reflected lack of availability or instead a failure to follow the SPG rules in this regard.

Dear St. Regis Guest & SPG Member,

We value all of our guests here at The St. Regis Aspen Resort and as an SPG member you know that your business is of critical importance to us. We are very sorry that we were unable to provide you with a Platinum Suite upgrade during your time with us. Unfortunately, you are correct in assuming that we are only able to accommodate these upgrades based on availability, and our suites are very popular with guests. Your feedback, however, is critical to the continued development of the associates to ensure they are providing an exceptional arrival experience for all of our guests so I want to thank you for taking the time to bring these concerns to our attention.

I am also pleased to hear that you found our front desk staff to be hospitable and that you received uncompromising service from our Spa during your time with us. I do hope that the next time you travel to Aspen on a ski vacation, that you will consider staying with us once again. You have our commitment for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Please do not hesitate to reach out to my office if there is anything else that I may assist you with.

Kind Regards,
H. Steenge-Hart, General Manager

This place just works out perfect. Rooms and staff are great. There's different options for food, including a Food and Wine Club restaurant. The outdoor area is wonderful. Lots of things for the kids too.

Location: awesome. It's a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and shuttles. Just park your car and you're set.

Finally, the spa is amazing.

We had previously stayed at the St. Regis several years back and were looking forward to a return visit. When we were there last, the property was nice but needed a bit of love. After a major renovation, it far exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic, right in the center of Aspen just a 5 minute walk from the base of the gondola. The renovation made a dramatic difference to our overall impressions of our stay.

The restyled rooms are absolutely fantastic. The received a complete gutting, with beautiful bathrooms, all new furnishings, floor and wall coverings. The spaces were truly re-invented. We stayed in a deluxe mountain room on the 5th floor. The were happy with the view and the room - but important to note that all the rooms on the 5th floor (top) are a bit smaller than those on the lower levels, due to a sloped roof. When I asked the front desk staff about the 5th floor they said it was exactly the same as the other floors. So a small ding for training at the front desk. Rooms are still a nice size, but the top floor rooms are not as open and spacious. The temperature controls worked great, and the beds were ridiculously comfortable.

The lobby bar and sitting area were always full of activity, and there is a great gym in the basement of the property with a bunch of equipment. Although we were told we would need to pay $50 for access to the steam/sauna/ wet area. Parking was $45 per night although you really don't need a car if just staying in Aspen.

Hotels in Aspen are not inexpensive, and the St. Regis is definitely at the higher end of the spectrum. If you can get a rate you are comfortable with, it's really one not to miss.

Room Tip: Mountain view rooms are worth the upgrade, 5th floor rooms lose space due to a sloped roof, 4th floo...

Dear Valued St. Regis Guest,

We so appreciate you spending another Aspen vacation at The St. Regis Aspen Resort. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated all of the touches of our newly renovated resort. I am sorry to hear that the sloped ceiling in your 5th floor guestrooms did not meet your expectations of our resort, and that our front desk did not mention this small difference to you upon arrival. We take your feedback seriously and will review with our staff to make sure we address your concerns. It is always a pleasure to have return guests at our resort and we sincerely look forward to welcoming you back to Aspen in the future.

Sincerely,

I am a residence owner at the St Regis in Aspen. The service I have received this past summer and this winter from a server named Pande has been beyond exceptional. I believe he is from Bali. While I have had fine service at the St Regis in the past, I believe the new management is recruiting staff with a passion to serve beyond the typical. Thank you Pande and the new management for making St Regis the gem it deserves to be!
