Stumbled across this place by accident and found it to be a real find, immediately liked the atmosphere and was instantly welcomed by friendly and attentive staff. I've been a couple of times now and have to day the food was excellent every time, the french onion soup was delicious as was the fish & chips my partner had. Highly recommended is the Lamb, fell off he bone and the sauce was dreamy! The resturant and bar are close to each other but somehow the clever design stops the massive TV screens from spoiling the vibe of the meal which happens all too often. Really lovely clientele with families and skiers having a great time, always loads of people but never too packed. highly recommended, a must go to!

Having spent weeks in Ireland, I was disappointed in the fish and chips. The fist was fish bits and had more coating than fish in them. The chips were excellent. We also had the pretzels bread and cheese fondue which was excellent.

Hi there Kansas City. Thanks for visiting Finbarr's on your visit to Aspen. We are pleased you liked our Guinness and Cheddar Fondue with pretzel bread. We are quite sorry you were disappointed with your Fish & Chips purchase. It is described as 'beer battered cod bites' on our menu and features a serving bite-sized fried cod pieces atop a pile of chips. If you weren't expecting bite-size cod, we apologize. It is one of our best sellers, but just might not be your thing. Hopefully next time you are in Aspen you will join us again for Fondue, and maybe give our Mortimer Burger a try- it's delicious. Cheers to you and yours!

Excellent food - the corned beef was delicious and would highly recommend it. Very spacious and good service. Note that it's in a basement therefore no windows/view.

Finnbar's is where you go for casual, laid back, friendly atmosphere and delicious food. We met the owner next door at his wife's wonderful gallery and he was so friendly that we had a great conversation culminating in his personally taking us downstairs to his pub to share the treasure he has hanging on the wall as you enter the pub. don't miss the original battle standard of the famous Fighting Irish of the civil War. This same unit leads the annual New York St. patrick's day parade to this day. This artifact should be in a museum but you will have the opportunity to view it up close and personal. We came back that evening and had a lovely dinner. Thanks Denis for your hospitality. You made our day!

We had the fish and chips and pork chops. The fish was skimpy with about 5 hunks of fish and all the rest fries. Other who had the pork chops said they were literally the best they had ever eaten. The manager was very friendly and gave us a Guiness chocolate pudding for dessert and it was ourstanding. This is a fun, casual place with lots of beers and reasonably priced food. Order pork chops!!!
