Stopped by for take out. The place was crowded but the bar service was great. Good drinks and atmosphere. The food was good and quick in spite of the crowd.

Relaxing, casual atmosphere and affordable menu yet 5 star restaurant service. This seems to be a different model than most....everyone pitches in to ensure the customer gets their food and drinks as efficiently as possible. It was very impressive!. And, the food was really fresh and delicious but go hungry. I could only eat half of the food on my plate and could have easily split my meal with my husband. Will definitely go back again!

Yes, good food, fun atmosphere. Go mid-late afternoon to relax, avoid crowds. 30 min or longer wait by 6 pm on Sat.
But here's the thing: staff is remarkably friendly, team-oriented. Seems everyone encouraged/happy to do whatever necessary for customer at moment: refill ice tea/water, deliver food to tables, clear dishes, pickup bill/credit card for processing. You'll see 4-5 cast members at your table in less than hour, multi-tasking. Truly amazing organizational behavior (sorry for geek-speak, but have rarely observed this level of wait-staff collaboration.) When noted, my server Lauren (recent Mich. St alum), agreed: "I've worked here 2 1/2 months and everybody says it will spoil me for rest of my life in hospitality biz." Manager (Brad? apols forgot name) says WHT a property of L.A-based Hillstones (two NYC locations). Private, family-owned co. Too bad (Haha). Can't invest. No public shares.

This is a small venue so be sure to plan accordingly as it's also quite popular. If you make it in don't be discouraged by the short menu as everything is delicious! We had the Tabbouleh, Dip Duo, French Dip, Macho Salad and the Thai Steak and Noddle Salad and were not disappointed. Only problem was deciding which one was the best! My vote got the Thai salad. it was incredible! This is a must stop and I highly recommend it!

A well-placed Aspen restaurant, on Restaurant row, serving excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. Great spot to either sit inside, or outside, and to people watch.
