“Heavenly Honeymoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2013

My husband and I spent the tale end of our honeymoon in this wonderful hotel. We were afraid that it was going to be mediocre because of it being so close to the main road, but it was suprisingly quiet. They provided everything from a flat screen to washer and drier. The rooms were modern, clean, and cozy. The entire staff was so welcoming. Right when we got there, we were welcomed by Lynn (I think that was her name) who was a native to Aspen and offered great tips on the area. When learning we were on our honeymoon, we were welcomed even more. We will most deffinately stay again. It was all absolutely perfect.

Room Tip: If you are just wanting to make a trip to visit the area, and not ski. Go during the off season, it...

We have stayed all over town and can honestly say the Innsbruck is the best! The staff is awesome - all of them are super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. This trip we stayed in a lower level unit in hopes to eliminate the road noise and it was perfect. It was a bit dark but there are no views from any room so we felt like the lower level was the way to go since we would not be giving up a view.

Room Tip: Choose a lower level room to eliminate the road noise.

I really wanted to like this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful (free shuttle and all). The bikes were better than the Limelight hotel as well. The condos were very clean, comfortable, and well appointment. In the lodge style, they were cozy and just what you'd want after a long day skiing. Free wifi too. The major disappointment was with the location. It's close in to town (literally 3 blocks from the dining and shopping) but it is right on the main drag. We had a 1 bedroom condo (on the top floor). It left lots of light in which was nice but we had trouble sleeping (all 3 nights) because there is nothing to buffer out the road noise. It was VERY frustrating. We had come to Aspen to relax and celebrate our anniversary. Instead of being able to rest well and enjoy the quiet we heard lots of cars go by. And it didn't matter what time of day/night it was :-(. I have a feeling the 2 bedroom condos are better as the bedrooms are on the back side and not up against the main street. Overall it was a nice and I'd really like to give it 5 stars but I honestly wouldn't stay again in the 1 bedroom as I couldn't sleep and I really value my sleep!

Room Tip: Don't go with a single that's on the front side - too hard to sleep with road noise!

We are on the last night of a week stay at the Innsbruck, booked through BlueGreen Resorts. Our room was well appointed and much more spacious than expected. The location is beautiful and with a driver readily available to take you anywhere you want at any hour, you have no need to be closer to the action. The service was top notch, including maid, concierge, and drivers. We highly recommend The Innsbruck and think it represents an excellent value.

I couldn't speak more highly of this hotel. It was an amazing place to stay. The rooms look identical to the pictures which is so refreshing. The staff, even the younger people, were so pleasant, nice and helpful. The hotel is not that close to the mountain (considering how small Aspen is) but they have a driver bring you anywhere which was great - warmed up with heated seats.

If we returned to Aspen, there is no place I'd rather stay. Thats even considering we are the type to explore and visit different places.

Room Tip: All the rooms were great. Enjoy the rooms and the town. Me and my wife did a great bar crawl hitting...

Over the years, we have stayed in a variety of hotels and condominiums in Aspen, from basic to the highest end residential condos in town and nothing has had the perfect combination of price, room for our family and attractive finishes as the Innsbruck.

When I called to make the reservation, the person on the phone was very friendly and helpful and described the property in detail and recommended a room on the top corner of the building (where it would be quieter). The property is on Main Street and it can be loud, so that piece of advice was key. Upon check-in, the front desk and office staff were all very friendly and helpful and we had help bringing our bags in from the car and suggestions for dinner and places to visit.

The condo we were in has two bedrooms (one with a king, one with two twins) each had its own bath (one with a steam shower) and there was an additional bath off of the living area - one of our kids slept on the pull-out sofa in the living area. The unit had a well appointed kitchen and comfortable living room furnishings and a fireplace. We have two adults and three kids and there was plenty of room for us all. We prepared our Thanksgiving dinner in the condo kitchen and found that they had everything we needed.

The location is perfect for walking around Aspen, getting to the ski hill (the Innsbruck will drive and pick you up from the gondola) exploring ACES or walking on the Rio Grande Trail. Most nights we walked home after dinner. Our kids used the small, but perfectly heated pool and hot tub. I used the workout room daily, which wasn't fancy, but had everything you'd need and was appropriate for a smaller property like the Innsbruck.

The only downside is that the mattresses need to be better to appeal to people wanting to stay for more than a night or two and the heating system was crazy loud. We solved this by buying earplugs at the nearby pharmacy and it wasn't a problem after the first night.

Overall, we were very impressed with the quality of the Innsbruck and the staff. The convenience of having a kitchen and living area for the times when we wanted to stay in sets it apart from nearby hotels. I have not stayed at the Jerome since their renovation, but we stayed at the Little Nell Residences during Aspen Food and Wine, and while that was amazing, it cost nearly 8x what we spent at the Innsbruck. There's no room service or bar etc, but for an attractive, well-appointed, convenient condo in town, I can't imagine you can do better. We will definitely return.

A few nice things: Shuttle in and back from town, amazing staff, the decor and kitchen, easy layout for a family, workout room, community room with an additional kitchen area, living area, game room, etc.

Only drawbacks: Needs better mattresses, Main street can be loud.

Room Tip: rooms on the corners would be better than a center unit.

Went for a romantic night away and couldn't have been more impressed with the service at The Innsbruck! Gemma at the desk was friendly and incredibly helpful in giving us restaurant advice. Our room was incredible and we were sad to leave after just one night. Could've stayed for a week! Will definitely be going back soon!
