“Perfect, Modern, Friendly and SUPER spacious Hotel.”
Reviewed 26 June 2012

We arrived late night for a wedding in town and Elizabeth was super friendly checking us in. Our room was gorgeous! Modern, large, spacious, with a Keirog coffee maker for that early caffeine slap in the morning, and we couldn't haven been happier.
The continental breakfast is a feast. Hand selected items, here you will get a lot of quality, not a lot of cheap stuff in quantity.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Aspen. It has a great location, great amenities, and palace like rooms. And to top it all off? Top notch staff.

Every year we return to The Limelight to host clients and friends during Food & Wine. The staff has always been super attentive to our needs and has helped us to pull off our functions flawlessly. Richard and Henning set the tone for a great experience so make sure you say hello before you leave. The lobby bar/restaurant is a great spot for happy hour (try the pizzas too), big glass windows, wide open spaces and a huge fireplace. The rooms are sunny and nicely decorated without feeling like a museum, very inviting for sure. It is hard to beat the location and while not slopeside, access to town is right out your door. The value for what you get is terrific but you never feel you are in a value hotel. A must if you are heading to Aspen.

Room Tip: The Penthouse (#419) is a great option for hosting a large group with one of the best views in Aspen...

We loved the Limelight, the Deluxe King was fantastic really large and beautifully appointed. The location is excellent walk out the door and your in the heart of Aspen with all the restaurants and shops super close. The staff were excellent. We arrived around 2.30 got into our room and were down by 3pm for a beautiful pizza for their happy hour which starts at 3pm. Would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aspen - loved it !!

Room Tip: Our room was overlooking the pool so we didn't have windows open but wasn't hot so wasn'...

I stayed here with friends for the Food & Wine Classic and I can't say enough positive things about the staff at Limelight Hotel! Nikolai, Peter, and Jessie made took care of every details from booking (and cancelling) restaurant reservations to arranging for transportation to Maroon Bells. When we asked for a late check out so we could savor the last few minutes of the Grand Tasting, the staff remembered to make a new set of room keys ahead of time just so we can retrieve our luggage and check out.

And it certainly did not hurt that the Limelight is centrally situated in cozy 'downtown' Aspen and just steps away from the Grand Tasting Tent for the Food & Wine.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed here last week for a 2 night mid-week getaway. We loved it! Hotel was built (or remodeled) in 2008, so it's got a new feel. The staff is wonderful, rooms are large, bed is cozy. Comfy bathrobes for going to the pool or hot tubs and get this - the rooms have nice 8oz size shampoo & lotions that are awesome! We purchased a couple to bring home. Yummy buffet breakfast is included. Longer happy hour than most places. Lounge is cozy with a nice fireplace (great for cooler evenings or winter months). Nice sitting areas around the pool. The hotel is right across the street from downtown, perfect for walking around. Bicycles are available as well. Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the pool and mountain. Windows actually open, so we enjoyed the frest night air instead of having A/C. Its just beautiful!. You won't be disappointed. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view. The mountain is beautiful.

We booked this hotel as a varience to our road trip itinerary. I am a skier and wanted to see this famed resort. We were not disappointed with the town or the hotel. We chose the hotel because of the reviews on Tripadviser and because of the good price we paid with kayak.com. The hotel was very modern with spacious rooms and a large bathroom. The underground car park was very useful. Aspen itself is a beautiful town and the weather was in the 80's in mid June. The staff were very pleasant both at reception and in the restaurant. We decided to have our evening meal at the hotel which was excellent with amazing pasta, good house wine and excellent service.I spent a good couple of hours beside the small pool which was perfectly adequate and well planned with lovely seating areas and comfortable sun beds. The location was superb in the heart of Aspen's town centre. All in all it was difficult to find fault. I am glad we decided to make a visit.
