I just love this place! Very happy memories of having visited this restaurant over the years with my wife and then my 20 other. It is fantastic for lunch on a Sunday and balmy afternoon. Whilst the place may be regarded as a little rustic it is just one on its own. Highly recommended for a very reasonably priced and easy time lunch.

This landmark restaurant has undergone excellent alterations recently. The downstairs bar is a cozy (yes, small) room with soft sage coloured beadboard walls. The small size makes getting a drink while waiting for a table an intimate affair so that by the time you are called upstairs you have a dozen new friends among both the locals and visitors. We had very good conch fritters and basically grazed our way through the menu. Nice Key Lime pie too. The night we went was beyond blustery and it was a thrill ride of sorts navigating the pier out to the restaurant. Once inside we had lovely views of the distant lights.

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening, it was busy but the wait wasn't too long and we enjoyed cold beer from the bar while waiting, food was just OK for the price, nothing to get excited about and not memorable, server was friendly even though she was busy. Enjoyed the view and eating over the bay.

We were told that this was a must in AMI. The area of the restaurant is enough to go to this restaurant. As we were walking up the pier we saw string rays, dolphins, and some type of shark. The first time we went here there was just a group of 4 including me so we sat at the bar due to the long wait. We had some beer and sat on the pier waiting for some bar seats to open up. I didn't mind the wait because of the view. We sat down and the waitress was very friendly and took are orders. We received our food promptly. I tried the Fried Grouper sandwich and I really enjoyed it. Later on that evening the group that we were with wanted to go. We had a group of 14 and we took up pretty much of the dining area but they were happy to accommodate us. We were seated right by the windows and saw dolphins swimming by as we ate dinner. Very cool experience. This is very relaxed environment and everyone was relatively friendly. I recommend it.

We arrived here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We walked up to the hostess who informed us they were no longer serving breakfast, but they would be serving lunch. When we inquired how long the wait would be we were told, "We don't know, some time later today". We promptly left and patronized another establishment. This young lady needs some "grooming".
