“Best meal on Anna Maria Island...”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Never expected to enjoy my meal as much as I did and we both rated it the best meal we had on the island. We each had the fried shrimp dinner and it was really good. This is just a funky little restaurant at the end of the pier and draws a big crowd. Lots to see when waiting for a table. It is at the north end of the island and about a 1/2 mile walk from the trolley stop at Anna Maria Pier.

“Cute fishing pier restaurant”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 via mobile

Cute small restaurant at the end of a pier. Seating available on covered deck in front overlooking shoreline either direction, or inside in ac in back overlooking gulf. Small open air bar, both bar and restaurant only serve beer and wine. Fishing off lower deck in back and sides. Menu offers fresh fish items prepared fried, grilled, or blackened with a variety of toppings. The homemade gumbo was very unlike Cajun gumbo, and was thick and made only with fish. Garlic crusted grouper flavor was wonderful but VERY salty. Mexican prepared grouper with salsa, peppers, and onions also delicious but also VERY salty. Portions were generous, and one entre would have been sufficient for both of us. Key lime pie was good.

“Reel good.”
Reviewed 9 May 2014 via mobile

What a lovely fresh meal with fabulous views of the sea. I enjoyed regular size fish and chips which was more like a large portion. My husband enjoyed his grouper and says it's the freshest fish he's had all holiday. My friend ate scrumptious shrimp. We were delighted to find this little gem of a place and we recommend it for a relaxing casual meal with friendly service.

“GREAT food!”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

We had lunch there and the food was fantastic! We both had a mahi mahi sandwich with fries and it was delicious! We sat outside on the porch and watched manatees, manta rays and a big pelican fish! The weather was beautiful which made this experience even better! The prices are reasonable and the wait staff is excellent!!

“Easy on a sunny afternoon”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

I just love this place! Very happy memories of having visited this restaurant over the years with my wife and then my 20 other. It is fantastic for lunch on a Sunday and balmy afternoon. Whilst the place may be regarded as a little rustic it is just one on its own. Highly recommended for a very reasonably priced and easy time lunch.
