Over the years my wife and I have visited Anna Maria 8 or 10 times and have stayed at around four different places and Sea Oats is by a long way the best property we have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed, has its own pool and decking by the canal which runs at the bottom of the garden. Many different types of birds make an appearance.
As more senior citizens this is was a perfect location for us at the quieter north end of AMI. It is a short, easy walk to a fantastic beach.
The Trolley stops in Pine Avenue, just a short walk away, giving easy, free access to all parts of the island from the City Pier in the north to Bridge Street in the south and all points in between. No need to take the car if going out and wanting to have a drink.
Pine Avenue offers several boutique shops and eating places, also the AMI museum which is well worth a visit.
Supermarket shopping at Publix is about a 6 mile round trip from Sea Oats so needs a little more planning than when staying more central.

Excellent service from Coastal Cottages AMI. Bungalow was extremely well equipped/clean and was home from home. Wonderful island with the best beaches. Very friendly people and great places to ea/drink ie Waterfront, Sandbar, Harrys Bar, Beachfront and 2scoops, City Pier and Rod and Reel plus the smaller places. Enjoyed watching the Manatees everyday swimming near the shore at this time of the year. Will definitely be going back...it was a paradise !
