“Nice Casual Upbeat Younger Clientele”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

We stopped for and early diner after trying Tamara's next door the day before for lunch. Both places offered excellent service and the food was good quality and well prepared. We had the fish tacos and recommend the refreshing home made Sangria they offer. Prices we're on par with a finer dining experience , but not overly pricey and a good value. The staff is very friendly, professional and attentive. We will visit again.
Tamara's, the Owl, Apalachicola Chocolate/Coffee, and Lynn's Quality Oysters/Pub in Eastpoint are our favorites so far in the area. The Seafood Grill on the corner is ok also, but a bit tight when busy.

“Great late-night option in Apalach”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

We ordered our food to go and ate it back at the Gibson Inn where we were staying. They are open until midnight or 1:00am - a great late-night option! We had the shrimp tacos, Thai hot dog, walnut-spinach-goat cheese salad and Caprese salad. They were all fresh and very tasty. My boyfriend's second-favorite meal in Apalach and he usually makes fun of tapas! He was full after this meal as their tapas are larger than the usual tapas-sized portions. The waffle fries that came with the Thai hot dog were really well fried, not greasy, very crisp and fluffy inside - and the roll around the dog was wrapped like a French bread pastry - delicious! Get a few chocolates from the chocolate shop next door for dessert! Or, second dessert...Tamara's desserts sounded good, too, although we didn't try them.

“Great service good food”
Reviewed 3 April 2014 via mobile

After a huge lunch of oysters on the bay a tapas restaurant was a perfect fit for dinner. The service was wonderful, friendly from the young female bartender and the other young man who served us. Our foursome of well travelled seniors loved the atmosphere and the mussel tapas in a caper cream sauce was so good we asked for bread to dip up the sauce. It was wing night and they were crispy and well cooked. To sum up good food, great service make sure we stop here again. Oh yes good choice of beers!

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

We stopped in for a drink and ended up ordering fish tacos and nachos. The bar server was wonderful. What a pleasant smile and wonderful disposition. The food was surprisingly good. The fish tacos were as good as the one's I get at Zipper Bar in San Jose del Cabo. That's a real tall order! Try this place if you are in Apalachicola. You will be glad you did!

“A pleasant place with great staff!”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

We had the pleasure of attending a wedding rehearsal dinner as guests at Tamara's Tapas Bar on February 28,2014. The staff went above board with their service to us. I asked for something to drink (without seeing the drink menu first) and as busy as the bartender was he took the time to make suggestions and fix me a wonderful mint Mojito.
After taking a seat at a table fairly close to the bar I was asked several times by the various staff if they could help me with any food or drinks. The food was placed in an appealing manner throughout the restaurant and was delicious.
l have to say that I never saw anyone from Tamara being any thing less than gracious and helpful to our group. We were very impressed and pleased.
