This hole in the wall has a fun decor, a really fun waitress, and fresh apalachicola oysters. Our table had grouper and also thought it was actually grouper and was fried well. The beer selection is bottled only and mostly domestic. The fries were sysco and forgettable. When you come to this small raw bar, be prepared for fast service and friendly faces. I would be a regular here if I lived in this town! Check out the hole on the wall... Just be careful of eyes looking in!

Hole in the wall is an ok little "raw bar" type bar and restaurant. The oysters are fresh as any in Apalach, but the price is a bit high. If you like this place, you can cross the bridge to East Point and get fresh from the bay oysters, shrimp, and fish at Linn's on the bay side just heading out of town, Prices there are 30% less and you get a LOT. Just a heads up.
We thought the food was a bit greasy this time. Last year the food seemed somewhat better.

Our third stay in the Apalachicola/Indian Pass area in as many years. The oysters (both fried and on the half shell) at Hole in the Wall were excellent and some of the tastiest. Nothing fancy here - the fried grouper sandwich was great, all the fixings, fresh. Simply good, fresh, local seafood from people who know how to fix it!

Enjoyed a casual dinner here while visiting the area for Spring Break with the family. The place lives up to its name - nothing fancy, and that is the point. Drink a couple cold beers and eat some fresh seafood in a laidback environment. The oysters were amazing, freshly shucked and sent to the table. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Make plans to arrive on the early end, they were closing around 7:45pm on a Saturday when we were there. Will definitely return for the oysters!
