Stopped for late lunch while driving through Albany and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Had the chopped salad with their homemade balsamic vinegariette and it was delicious. Someone else had the Brunswick stew and the pulled pork BBQ sandwich which were also very good. The menu had a wide selection of oyster preparations and different types of BBQ. Would be a great place for dinner!

Visited this restaurant and from the outside it looks phenomenal, but not so much on the inside. Very small enclosed "saloon-style" bar area that might accommodate 7 people or less. Dining area not so clean on the day I visited. Slow service, but it was packed. No areas for privacy. But good dining room outside. Food was great however. Had Applewood Chops and was satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant and probably revisit myself if I were in town, but not as a first choice. Good location.

Best part were the vegetables the mixed and broccoli. Out of baked potatoes. Chopped steak was good and properly cooked. It was nice to find a menu with less fried food. Restaurant could use a good scrubbing but good food at a fair price. Facility is tired. Nice areas to eat outside.

Found Austin's close to hotel, good ratings on TA. We had Lauren as our server and she was AWESOME! We apologized for asking so many questions since neither of us had been there before. Her response: "I like lots of questions. It keeps me on my toes about our menu." Fried grit cake appetizer was very tasty w/cheese and bacon not overpowering the grit cake. Fish (grilled Grouper) Tacos were outstanding, especially w/Asian slaw. Grilled veggies were cooked just right. Shrimp po' boy was just as good. Shrimp are P/D n breaded right there. Great homemade tartar sauce. Unfortunately no room for dessert. Would have liked to try the bread pudding...next trip!
