Description: Yo-ho Rojo! Coming into our 12th season, Rojo Beach Bar is still the casual kind of place a beach bar ought to be. 3 gorgeous acres and hundreds of feet of beachfront with great snorkeling so don't forget your bathing suits and masks! Food is ordered AT THE BEACH BAR or by the runner outside the bar (there are NO waitstaff). Reason being is we are small and we don't get too crowded...a plus for you! So, we prefer to under promise and over deliver! If it's a typical day, you will be served and our staff is great! If it gets REALLY busy, we might be short-handed behind the bar, in which case you might not have a dedicated "runner/sever." Dishes are served family style, one or two at a time, with the idea that they're going to be shared over frosty drinks and lively conversation. There are no "appetizers" or "mains" per se, just tasty food. Our staff is small and everything is made from scratch. Sometimes this translates into a bit of a wait. If you are waiting for food, we suggest you enjoy a cocktail. If you are waiting for a cocktail, we suggest you relax and enjoy the view! Pet the dogs. Play some games. Happy Hour DAILY from 3pm - 5pm! And QUALITY sushi on Saturdays!

“Lobster Pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

Worth a water taxi to enjoy this awesome little beach bar. Great drinks and their lobster pizza is to die for. SO tasty. I'm going to crave it until I get to order it again next time I go to Belize!

“Great drinks at Rojo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014

Rojo is a quaint beach bar in north Ambergris Caye which served great drinks. We had the Dirty Monkey and Panty Rippa. Very relaxing, right on the beach and views.

“Awesome Lobster Pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

We stayed at a resort near by and ate at this resutrant twice. The lobster pizza is to die for and so is the ceviche and pork buns. The staff was great, especially FINN! they have a great pool to lay out and the drinks were very tasty as well. its a must do on the island!

“It looked like a cool place”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

I would love to tell you how great this place was, but we never received service. We walked up, music was playing, few people there dancing, and made eye contact. No one acknowledged, at all. Stood there for a moment then walked away. This was our first night, we did not go back. Too bad, looked cool. Maybe you have better luck.
