Sunset is one of the hidden treasures on the island. Great food and the grand kids had a great time feeding the fish.

We were stopped on the street by Kevin (the owner?) when we found Elvi's closed who invited us to try his place, he said his chef just won Taste of Belize the previous night. We were seated near the dock about a half hour before sunset. Kevin came out with some folks to feed the tarpon across the dock from us. You can clearly see these huge fish swimming nearby, very cool. The sunset was very beautiful.

We started with cocktails, my pina colada was very, very good. Appetizers, had the Shrimp Santa Fe, also good, though it described the dish as chorizo and shrimp, it tasted more like Italian Sausage, oh well, no matter! For dinner, I had the stuffed chicken breast with pasta and it was very very good, had to share it because it was so unbelievable, my husband agreed. He had the Cashew Pesto Linguini which he also loved. For dessert we had the chocolate vanilla rum flan which was also fabulous.

This little treasure is tucked away on the bay side of the island. The restaurant is simply tables that are set up on the deck overlooking the bay. The gimmick of this place is that you can go feed the tarpons at sunset! It was fun but it doesn't compare to the food. We sat on the edge of the porch and enjoyed a lovely authentic Caribbean meal while watching good size tarpon and sting and eagle rays swim underneath the pier. The food was a little
more than you would pay in other places but the food is solid and the atmosphere is wonderful!
