We stayed at Xanadu Island Resort, so this little spot was perfect for grabbing lunch or breakfast (both of which we did) since its so close, a good value, and a hearty quick meal.
The building facade is very inviting, the inside not as much. It's hotter than you want it to be (because there's so much baking going on!) and there's not as beautiful of a bakery display as you may be used to back home, but don't less this dissuade you. The baker was wearing french-styled chef attire, baker's hat and all. The owners are wonderfully charming. The breakfast sandwiches are hearty (I got egg and cheese on croissant and was SO happy I did). And the cinnamon rolls are some of the best I have ever had (not too sweet, not too heavy, perfect with a cup of coffee).
So, when in San Pedro and looking for a quick bite to eat, stop by The Baker. They package meals to go very well, so its the perfect place to pick up food before an excursion.
