Hurricane's was not initially on our short list of restaurants to visit while in San Pedro, but we were glad we went. I am forever searching for good ceviche on vacation and Hurricane's did not disappoint. We stopped in the first time because many restaurants were closed over the Easter weekend. Service was mediocre but the fish ceviche ($13.50 US) and seafood burrito ($16 US lunch special) was good. The burrito was a little pricey in my opinion. Drinks were good, but also not cheap.
We went back for lunch while waiting for our flight back to the mainland. Bartender Josh was great - good drinks and great service. We had more fish ceviche and another lunch special, BBQ fish fingers ($ 12.50 US). This was a better value than the burrito and was very tasty! Each visit cost about $50 US.
View was beautiful and the breeze kept us cool. There was construction going on next door - it was very interesting watching the crew dig sand and sea grass from the ocean, put it in a dinghy, then transfer it to the build site. All in all Hurricane's was a great find in San Pedro.
