“Great experience”
Reviewed 6 November 2013

I really enjoyed learning about the crocodiles with Chris and watching him jump out of the boat to rescue a couple of crocs from under a dock or a flight of stairs. This was a great mix of adventure and education....and the money goes toward helping the crocodiles. Fun!!

Thanks for the great review and thanks for coming!!
I'm glad we were out that night when and where we were, those 2 we caught definitely shouldn't have been living where they were as you know, and without the boat going out we never would have come across them, so good job on helping to save 2 little guys!! We haven't seen them since relocating them so hopefully they found themselves a nice little niche somewhere not too close to people!!
It was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation.

Regards

Chris Summers

“Not To Be Missed - A Gem of Your Belize Experience!”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

I was on the first day of a week-long trip to Belize and had the good fortune to meet Chris, a conservationist and wrangler who works with ACES, and learned about their educational crocodile tour. This evening excursion on the lagoon looking for crocs to tag and checking in on the previously tagged crocs we came across, was the perfect way to start my trip and get up and close with the beauty and majesty of Belize. The American Crocodile is an endangered species and largely misunderstood. In having the opportunity to learn from Vince and Chris, first-rate experts, I walked away from it with both a greater understanding of this incredible reptile and a wonderful experience to share with my friends and family back home. This is a must for anyone visiting Ambergris Caye/ San Pedro in Belize!

Hey, I'm so glad you had a good time!! That was a really fun night. We had some quite feisty crocs on board that evening!!
There's nothing more rewarding for us than showing the beauty in what we see. Knowing that you walked away with a better understanding of these animals, that they're not just mindless eating machines, is exactly what we're going for. Crocs get a bad rap, and I'm glad after an evening with us that you might look at them differently.
Thanks very much for coming, and look us up next time you're in Belize

Regards

“Highlight of our Trip!”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

I booked this tour at the last minute after finding it on tripadvisor and am so happy I did. We did cavetubing, snorkeling, and golf carting. This was by far the best part of our trip. Vince & Cherie are so knowledgeable about the area and crocodiles. We tracked an 8 foot croc underneath a house boat and it was crazy to see Vince so brave in the water. We also released a 3 year old crocodile back into the area. Check this tour out just to hear their stories and knowledge of Belize. You'll definitely want to donate more to help this cause. Don't forget to bring a small bag/cooler with a few beers to enjoy on the trip!

“Croc People are Great!”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

My husband and I went crock hunting with Cherie and her husband while in San Pedro for our honeymoon. We really enjoyed the experience. Very informative and these croc people are so passionate about their work, it's just fun to watch. We didn't catch a croc while we were out, thought we got very close! We did get to handle a croc though, since Cherie had a few they were releasing that night into less polluted and less populated areas. So fun!

“do the tour!”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

We did a tour with Vince and Cherie as sort of an "add-on" to our diving trip and it turned out to be the highlight of the week. For $40 pp, you'll take a flat-bottom boat around the lagoon searching for crocs to tag and possibly relocate. Vince and Cherie are great and I can't wait to do the trip again.
