Spent two nights at the end of a Property Tour (Belize Paradise Tours - highly recommended). From pick up at the airport by Dr. Pepper, check in with Edilberta, Yvonne our maid, and Ronnie in the restaurant (sorry those whose names I've forgotten) smiles and over and above helpfulness. Comfy beds and working AC - all clean and, if not sparkling as the salt air plays havoc with the fittings, in good working order. Checking in was like a well oiled machine with those lovely touches only found in much more expensive resorts. Right by the airport and downtown San Pedro but you can stroll along the beach and avoid the madness. Nice beachfront restaurant too.

Room Tip: Higher floors have uneven staircases but then ocean views.

My wife, my two children and I had a beautiful experience at Sunbreeze! It was their first time on the beach in San Pedro. For us it was the best vacation as a family given that it is on the beach, has a nice pool, restaurant and all the facilities one needs.Thank you so much!

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs...nice view!

We haven't been to Belize in 20 years and this was our first time staying at Sunbreeze hotel. We booked a package trip through Travelocity and was a little unsure what to expect but everything turned out great, including the weather. October is usually the hurricane season! The hotel was clean, bed was comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's located right next to the beach and Tropic Air is right across the street from the front of the hotel. Considering its close proximity to the airport and main street, the place was very quiet. The tv channels were extensive which helped on the one day that it poured down rain. It's also within walking distance to several bars and restaurants.

I highly recommend dining at the Blue Water Grill, which is located at the hotel. Tuesdays and
Thursdays are their Sushi nights and it's a must-try! We tasted some of the best sushis we've ever had and the pan fried fish was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented! The poolside bar served some wonderful drinks and service was great! We would stay there again if we go back!

Lily's Treasure Chest is also another wonderful restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

My husband and myself along with a good friend stayed ten nights, we had two rooms (1 standard and 1 premium) and the premium room we had wasn't that much different from our friends standard other then the king size bed and located closest to the beach. That was where the extra cost came in but was well worth it for us. Staff was great in every way, location perfect for town, pool always clean. Had TV, never turned it on, didn't take our cell phones, didn't miss them at all!!! Great vacation and the Sun Breeze Hotel was awesome, oh, and don't forget to get a massage:-) Hope to go back with a group next year and Sun Breeze will be our choice of where to stay. I've been to San Pedro 12 times, first stay with Sun Breeze, wish I had used them long ago.

Room Tip: second floor rooms has better breeze, closer to beach the better.

The employees are very friendly and always ready to help. I liked the fact that I was able to watch my local California news on the TV in my room, Large and spacious rooms. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return again.

Room Tip: Rooms that face the front yard had a great view.

If you're looking for a place that isn't isolated from the local culture, this is ideal. Located directly across from the airstrip which is beyond convenient. Within walking distance of numerous restaurants and bars and also nearby many dive and tour guides. Staff was very friendly and though you won't spend much time in the room, it is very large and has more then enough TV channels (HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax, NFL Network, ESPN, etc) if you choose to spend the evening in.

We stayed at the sunbreeze from 9/12-9/19. We were in room 119. Which is about 15 feet from the sand. The room was very clean. 42" tv hd tv had more channels than i get at home. Starz, HBO, discovery, history, hgtv, espn 1,2,3,ocho; nbc, cbs, abc, fox, amc, etc. Ceiling fan and aircon kept the room delightfully chilly. King size bed was firm but comfy. The mini fridge kept our beer, rum and mixers cold. (We bought our own at a market in town to save money). The room was 5 feet from the pool. Pool has a great bar, and solid happy hour prices. They provided fresh and free drinking water in the room, which was great. We flew to the island with San Pedro Air. Literally, just walked across the street to the hotel. No taxi needed. We were never bothered by noise at all in our room. It was silent. Sheets and towels were always clean. Room service did a great job. Felt very safe there. The only downside, was the step up into the tub was a solid 18". This might be a problem if you are older or have hip issues.

The resort is the perfect location from the center of town. There are tons of restaurants in town, everything is easily walk-able. The blue fin grill is tasty, though a touch pricey. ( Prices were close to what I would pay in the states. I was expecting things to be cheaper in Belize, but being on an island, everything has to get shipped in.) But because the hotel is 50' away from the center of town, you don't get the noise or people that the center city bars attract. Yet it is a 2 minute walk in, so everything is convenient.

Due to the hotel's great location, you never need a taxi.

I made the mistake of bringing $20's USD and a few $100 USD. Due to the 2:1 exchange, these were WAY too big. Bring 5's and 10's. Plenty of ATM's on the island. I have Capital One 360 checking (formally ING direct) and I never paid a fee for using my card-debit or credit. In fact I regularly tapped the Atlantic Bank atm for cash, and they didn't even charge me a withdrawal fee!!! Heck, I paid $4 in the airport in philly to get out twenty bucks. Every large restaurant takes cards without complaint. Local places, mini markets and vendors are cash only

Eat at the local deli's. Amazing food for like $2 USD. stew pork and coconut milk rice and beans w. Marie Sharps..LOVE IT.

Pupusas from Waruguma are delish!

Get johnny cakes or the breakfast wrap next door at Mama's? (make a left out of the front door, walk 10-15 feet) for like $1 usd. Breakfast at Lick's was def a tasty treat too.

We dove at Day n Nite diving with David and Marvin. Great dives. Good rates. Saw tons of sea creatures. Marvin and David are two of the coolest, nicest guys ever.

We took a Catamaran trip to Caye Caulker with Seaduced. Great trip! Def a must do! Worth every penny.

Great place. Beautiful country. Warm and welcoming people. I can't wait to go again! I'd stay at the SunBreeze in a heart beat.

P.S. If sitting on the beach is your thing, you can totally do that at SeaBreeze too. But if you want to swim & sit on the beach you really can't. That goes for the whole island, not just at the SeaBreeze beach front. The island is surrounded by sea grass which is a protected natural resource. That is where all the fishes breed. However, if you walk south along the beach to Ramon's. There is a little area 20'x20' that you can wade in if you would like. Nobody from Ramon's ever said anything about us being there. Don't stay at Ramon's.....super expensive and fake. ...but hey they had a nice little beach there so, we wandered down a couple times. SeaBreeze rocked!
