“Great pizza, strong drinks!”
Reviewed 24 November 2013 via mobile

We ate here 4 or 5 times during our stay and kept coming back for the fantastic pizza.

The crust is very thin and crispy and you can order it spicy which is where they mix local hot sauce into the tomato sauce which is amazing.

The owner is good craic, pours a strong rum punch and is quick to offer a free shot though he can be a bit intense at times.

A great, laid back spot to chill with a beer and a slice of pizza at the end of a hard days sunbathing.

“Visit for a giggle and the tasty pizza sauce”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

Despite the shanty-shack facade of Pizza Caulker and inebriated diners, the pizza here is great - there is something about the tomato pizza base which is very tasty. However, be on your guard as you enter, they love their rum! Be prepared to be greeted by tipsy chatty travellers and the gregarious owner. unless you are particularly sociable, I recommend that you order take-away. The staff (especially Maurice) and diners are incredibly friendly, though, so go in with an open mind. I envisage that this place would be fantastic to meet locals and chatty backpackers! My boyfriend and I ordered take-away to be more romantic and eat it by the pier, but I simply enjoyed walking in and be greeted like a long-lost friend.

Also, one final thing, pizza is thin crust and you only have a choice of 3 ingredients, so consider buying a larger size.

Sabrina.

“Better Than You Might Expect FromThe Outside”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

To make things clear right from the start, this place is a shack - seriously. But the pizza was very good with an almost New York City style crust. They make some good, and strong cocktails. The owner is a bit of a goof trying to collar passers by, but he is trying to get business. But once in, they will take good care of you. It was good enough to warrant more than one visit.

“Want the best pizza in town”
Reviewed 30 October 2013 via mobile

Ate here for lunch today, they serve a thin crust pizza that compares to any of the best eats back home. Great international crowd, great food, pleasant staff. I would eat there again!
