“Real nice place to stay”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

We styled here for two days and really enjoyed it! The manager was really friendly and helpful with a lot of tips (she moved here 20 years ago and never left). The apartments looked great and we're equipped with everything you would ever need. A/C, television, nice bed, great double shower so you can shower together, free filtered drinking water, ability to make free coffee and free tea, oven, nice fridge with the ability to make ice cubes, ceiling and separate fan, safe etc etc etc. in the back there was a nice clean swinging pool. In the front there was a nice private porch with a 'beach' view, for watching the sunrise.

There were free bikes to use (had to be returned by 5pm though). The roof terrace was amazing too. Hammocks and beach chairs, which could be used underneath a nice extra roof for some shade. The breeze up there was very welcoming and the views for both sunset and sunrise we're amazing.

Finally the location was very nice to. Probably one of the closest hotels to The Split (where the island was cut in half after a hurricane) where the best bar/beach/hangout of the island is located. It is less secluded than, for instance, the hotels at the beach near the south part of the island.

And the place was (practically) spotless.

Would without a doubt recommend this place to anyone!

We stayed there for 5 days. The infrastructure is really good. We had a fully equipped kitchen. And we used the grill for our fishes.

The bicycle are free of charge and you can make a tour around the island. Everything was clean.

We enjoyed our stay.

Rather a belated review, but stayed here for a week as part of a tour round Belize and loved it. The place was immaculately clean, no bugs of any description (a big deal for me). Having a pool was great as was being able to walk round the corner to the beach bar and chill out. We used the rooftop terrace, relaxing in the hammocks, sometimes there were a few guests to chat to, but usually it was pretty empty during the day. The apartment was kitted out with everything we needed, including a coffee machine which was great in the mornings. We were comfortable and relaxed and loved it. I can recommend the ice-cream just next to the condos. Highly recommended,

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the corner upstairs units which have a great views.

First let me start with the good points the condos are equipped with everything you need.fridge, microwave stove and all the utensils. They all have balconies overlooking the sea.bikes are supplied for use of the guests also. The service was very good. Our AC stopped working first night and they came fixed it as soon as we told them next day. They also supply a standing fan in your room.
They do however need some TLC looking very dated.
The condos are right on the street by the strip which is the main hang out during the day as it is the only place to swim so gets very crowded and loud. We went off season so can imagine this would only be worst in high season.
The bed was not very comfortable at all and we never got much sleep. It is also very noisy from other guests first we just thought it was our neighbours but it was not you can hear other guests moving around doors banging constantly even the cupboard doors. It sounded like furniture was being constantly moved around every night. The pool was not very clean and felt not very inviting.
The shower was a little weird it was rocks stuck on the walls and floor but it worked perfectly well.
I would not say it is the worst place I have stayed but am not sure I would recommend it either.
I would recommend a full day snorkelling trip with tsunami tours excellent our guide was called joe and he was fabulous. We have travelled extensively and they are probably one of the few companies that have deliver exactly what they promised.

Room Tip: All rooms have a balcony over looking the sea so all are good from that point of view

We had to leave early due to an emergency back home. They where very kind to us and helpful. Can not say enough how much that meant to us. The location was great, and we had all the amenities that we needed. Friendly, helpful and clean. Safe :)

We stayed in room 5, a second floor balcony room with a sea view.
The rooms are comfortable with AC, a fan and a fully equipped kitchenette. We had a great time hanging out on the balcony with some beers in the evening watching people come and go from the Split.
The shower in the bathroom was a bit strange, it is encrusted with river rock on the sides and floor that kind of hurt your feet after awhile, but the shower itself was a good size, and had hot water, which isn't really necessary but nice after a day in the ocean.
The hotel is down at the end of "Front street" very close to the Split where people go to hang out and swim, so it seemed more peaceful than some of other places closer to the center of town. However, Caye Caulker is so tiny nothing is more than a 5-10 minute walk away.
I recommend pre-paying a night or 2 and checking out some other properties close by, especially in the low season. We were very happy in this hotel, but it is always nice to look at other options before you pre-pay more nights.
We didn't use the pool, but got some great pictures from the rooftop.
When we visited it was rainy season so we got some relief from mosquitos, but there are a lot of them everywhere so come prepared and sleep with a fan on.
