We WILL be going back! Starting with the ease of making reservations, great communications with Kendra, the boat ride out, staff, service, accommodations, food, and the unlimited water adventures... Everything was the best I've ever encountered. The snorkeling and diving can't be beat. Dive guides and Instructors were top notch. The food... I gained weight. It was quiet, laid back and peaceful. Hands down, would totally recommend OTW.

Words can't describe the fabulous week spent on this beautiful island. My husband and I and the two other couples we traveled with were pampered and catered to by the owners and staff. The grounds are beautiful, the cabanas comfortable, and the patch coral reefs are bounding with life. Guided snorkel trips educate you on the reef life; opportunities to swim to or paddle a kayak out to reefs provide additional snorkeling opportunities. Not being an experienced snorkeler, I appreciated the attention, guidance and tips received from our snorkel guide to help me get comfortable with the snorkel and mask and to thoroughly enjoy my experience. The food was delicious and meals were served family style with other guests, the owners and staff. I loved the time spent chatting. I loved the fact that they power the island with solar and wind energy, have composting toilets (kept very clean), and catch rain water to shower and wash hands. Everyone makes you feel at home and comfortable and the owners and staff are so happy, you can't but enjoy yourself. We will return!

Five star without question! Beautiful setting; engaging, highly involved, personable and top notch owners and staff; very tasty and plentiful food, comfortable, clean cabins. We also became PADI Open Water certified, a program that was highly personalized and paced exactly to our needs - thanks Bev! The snorkeling and scuba diving are incredible at Glover's Reef. We're not really people who go to "resorts," but this was such an unostentatious place (yet everything done with a touch of class) in an incredible setting with enjoyable people that we are already planning our return.

Our week at Off the Wall was one of our most memorable vacations. We will come back.

We enjoy playing and relaxing in the outdoors, and we were looking for an island experience vacation with spectacular diving, snorkeling, kayaking and plenty of quiet moments outdoors to relax and recharge. Off the Wall delivered all of this and more.

From the moment we stepped off the boat, it was obvious to us that the owners, Jim and Kendra, and all of the staff care deeply about their resort and guest experiences. Everyone was attentive to our needs and desirous to make our vacation a wonderful experience. Every staff interaction we had was meaningful and on an authentic level and by the end of the week they felt like family to us.

The cabanas are cute, clean and well maintained. We stayed in the duplex, and appreciated its location at the end of the resort. Our cottage was pleasantly and simply decorated with island flair and hanging lanterns made from coconut shells handmade by Kendra. Kendra’s creative talents bring a warm island touch throughout the entire resort.

The toilets and showers, kitchen, and all the common areas were clean and well maintained. As night approaches, candles and tiki torches along the paths, and candles and kerosene lanterns in the cottages, created a relaxing end to our active days. Hammocks, swinging beds, and chairs throughout the resort beckoned us to stop and admire the beauty, and provided prime real estate for star gazing at night!

Of course the diving and snorkeling were fabulous, and we were thrilled with the great snorkeling just off the dock and shoreline. We wholeheartedly agree with what so many other reviewers have said about the diving, coral and abundant fish. We are experienced and comfortable, but not frequent scuba divers. Divers of varied skill level and experience dove with us, and the staff showed appropriate and responsible care and concern for all guest safety.

One of our highlights was getting to know the other guests and the staff. We had communal meals and there was more than enough food to keep active people well nourished. During our week, we ate local and regional dishes (fresh fish, fresh tortillas, rice, beans, chicken) and also had some familiar stateside (American) food prepared by a wonderful cook. For the first meal of the day, there was always fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola alongside a hearty breakfast.

We are so happy that we spent a week on this peaceful and relaxing tropical island. We met wonderful people and made new friends with our guests.

Words and pictures fail to capture the essence of this place. The owners and staff were so friendly, approachable, and seemed genuinely interested in interacting in an authentic and lighthearted way. That set the tone for what was already a remarkable paradise island setting. Eye candy abound; the tiny island could be considered 'rustic' by some, but the attention to beautiful details and charm proved to exceed any expectations for typical 'rustic' settings. From mosaic tiled stairs and mirrors to conch lined walkways, tiki torches, white candles, and coconut shell lights, Kendra and Jim have thought of everything to maintain a clean, relaxing, intimate, and magical vibe. In our cabin, yoga mats and books were available along with our own hammock and many chairs and loungers, not to mention floating beds and other seating all over the tiny island. The weather was great and we never were too hot traveling in February. No annoying bugs. My husband and I were there to snorkel but by mid-week decided to try the Discovery Scuba which was amazing! We have been to many places to snorkel but never took the next step. Kendra was so encouraging and the highly qualified instructor, Dorith, made it so easy and accessible with a tiny group. I loved the entire experience, including superb coral and fish life. The food was another highlight and Eileen stole my heart with her cooking. I was never left hungry and devoured the buffet style meals with fresh granola, fresh fish, homemade bread and tortillas, along with incredible desserts, coconut rice, and fresh juices. I was the only vegetarian but she always accomodated me and I tried and loved most of the fish due to the freshness and her cooking. Besides enjoying snorkeling, diving, the wildlife and pace of the island (hermit crabs, blue crabs, iguanas, lizards, birds, one very large black bunny rabbit), we played volleyball (thanks Mario and Juan), kayaked (you can kayak to other snorkeling spots, the sand bar, or another caye), paddleboarded, and spent time with the other wonderful guests and staff. We even saw bioluminescence and string of pearls off of the dock at night!

We stayed in the white house cottage and absolutely loved it, although all of the cabins seemed great. Candles and lanterns are provided for ambiance along with the lamps and light. The shared showers and bathrooms were enjoyable and easy to get used to and it felt great supporting an eco-friendly environment. If you decide to go, please feel free to bring me along because I cannot wait to return.

Off the Wall is an amazing place. First of all, there are only five cabins so you become genuinely close with the other guests, all of whom stay a whole week. And you get to know the whole, wonderful, very happy staff (everyone eats together). I don't dive, but was made to feel very welcome anyway, and had a great time snorkeling around. I loved our cabin, which had windows on all four sides and was just feet away from the ocean - the sound of waves was most soothing. And the breezes from any direction could cool the room; there wasn't any need at all for a fan. I was also very impressed with the dedication of the owners to caring for the environment - this is a genuine "ecolodge", not in name only but in essence.

What a great place! Essentially your own island playground; learn to dive, dive, snorkel, fish, kayak, lay in the sun... and no worries about food or drink, just show up when the conch is blown and eat a delicious homemade meal with the other guests and staff. My wife and I got our open water dive certifications with a great instructor (Beverly) and then went on some fun dives with our friends and great dive master Tyrone. We felt quite safe and well taken care of by all the staff, underwater and on the surface. The owners are onsite and seem like old friends immediately. They were very helpful during and before the trip, answering emails quickly and making local air and hotel reservations for us. Thank you Jim and Kendra for a wonderful vacation experience!
