We expend there two nights, and the experience was great. It's an eco friendly hotel, built on a forest hill, next to the main road to San Ignacio, with only 3 rooms located in rustique and cosy villas, with outside shower and terrace. The owners, a couple of Germans who moved into Belize 10 years ago, are lovely and make you feel at home, chatting with you while having a beer (or two ;)) after dinner, sharing their experiences about the country. They can organize any tour. We went to Tikali and was great. Wonderful breakfast, and for dinner don't forget to order a ball of bread filled with pieces of meat and sauce, tipical from Leipzig, I don't remember the name.... Marvelous! Ummmmm. A friend of the owners, Monica, lovely and charming too, will replace them for the next 6 months. I hope, readers will enjoy as much as we did!

Just got back from our vacation in Belize. We stayed at Wolf's the last 4 days of our trip. The cabin (Eco Cabin) was great- pictures on the site don't do it justice. The food was delicious and the tours, unforgettable. But the best part was the way Peter, Petra Monica and Manuel made us feel from the moment we met. It felt like we were visiting old friends even though we never met before. They were courteous, attentive, funny and kind. We brought from Belize, not only the memories of a great place but a warm feeling knowing now that we have friends in these little piece of paradise. Danke meinen freunden!!! : )

I have been to this cute little corner of paradise for 3 days, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Petra has a beautiful smile on her face and you can see how she likes what she does. Peter is a great funny man.
The huts are cute, clean, in a tropical garden, with a lot of birds and flowers.
Having the toilets and shower outdoor is not a problem at all, the shower in the dark with all those stars is soooo mesmerizing.
If I want to find a fault to all this, may be the fact that a street runs closeby with loud trucks, but seems the problem is going to be fixed soon.
I want to thank everyone for the beautiful time, the kindness.
Hope to see you all again.

xxx Alex

Our stay was great. Peter and Petra were so nice. However, we were the only Americans staying at the resort and the other couples spoke German 95% of the time so we felt out of place. For Belize being an American speaking country it was pretty interesting staying someplace and feeling like we were in Europe! Our room was great, we stayed at the basic. I loved the mosquito net and they had just put in a shower and sink in the front of the porch.

Peter and Petra were great. The two cabins we had were inexpensive in cost, but very nice and cute. Outdoor hot shower was awesome too :) And we had already booked a few excursions in Central Belize with other tour guides before our trip but I wish we hadn't - Wolf Tours had much better ones. If we get to Belize again we're going to stay here again. Thanks Peter and Petra!

If you are looking for a place where spirit of adventure and "joie de vivre" meet hospitality and familiar atmosphere - you will love it !
As Wolfs Place is rather small and the contact with the owners very personal, this is a perfect place for individual travellers in Belize ! The planning and organization of the trips is therefore individually done .
Dear Peter, Petra and Imanuel thank you so much for the great time we had at your place. The service and accommodation were excellent (we liked the Barbecue a lot).
We wish you all the best.
Regards

Andrea & Donja

Room Tip: Eco Cabana was great !

We received more than expected at Wolf’s Place and Tours. Clean cabanas and surroundings, shower under the stars (the warm-water one was a real treat), good meals and beer, plus the awesome tours and local tour guides. Peter Wolf is funny, earthy, and experienced adventure-traveler himself and knows Belize really well; he’s quite the enjoyable character! Emmanuel, the on-site guide is excellent and so likeable. He got us through wheel-deep red-clay mud on the way to Caracol in the lodge’s classic 1985 Land Rover. What a fun adventure! That day-trip and the trek to and through Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave are the most memorable. Petra Wolf is super informative and on the ball; she handled unexpected situations that ensured us a memorable and awesome vacation. One of our luggage pieces was damaged and unusable; therefore, during our transport to their jungle lodge, Petra stopped at a general store in Belmopan and spotted a quality, four-spinner-wheel replacement piece – the best we now have. We’d stay with them again. Their website photos show it like it is. This Belize trip is an exceptional experience that “haunts” our hearts – in no small measure due to the excellent hospitality and expertise of Peter & Petra Wolf at Wolf’s Place and Tours in the highlands of Belize.

Room Tip: I'd try the eco cabana next time.
