“Cool”

Very cool tour. Hop in a canoe, and paddle through the cave while you guide points out evidence of Mayan occupation. Amazing, majestic. Perfect tour.

“The Magical Cave”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

We went canoeing through the Barton Creek Cave with Edgar. He took us deep into the cave, showed us mayan sacrificial artifacts and victim remains, talked about the cave and its inhabitants. We were enchanted by the glittering walls, crystal-like dripping formations, the soaring cathedral ceilings hidden in darkness. The cave was vast, mysterious and quiet. At each turn we gasped as the lights revealed new incredibly beautiful sights. We could go on forever. Thank you, Edgar, for sharing with us the natural beauty of the cave and your charming enthusiasm!

“Liked Tubing Better...”

Must visit this cave via canoe, which was not my favorite, but it is a pretty cool site. Saw ENORMOUS scorpion spider while passing close to rock at entrance - happy made it out without spider incident!

“Absolutely Beautiful ”

Combined this with zip lining at Calico Jacks.

This cave is beautiful. The water leading in, coming out, the formations, and even the bats!

“Mayan artifacts by canoe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

This is one of the most wonderful places I've been. The Canoe trip into the cave is magical, almost spiritual at times. The formations change as you pass them by, lit only by your light carried in your canoe. You need a certified guide to go with you. This protects the cave, and your guide will point out artifacts you wouldn't see on your own. During your tour be sure to turn off all your lights for a few minutes-Absolute Darkness!!! Awesome!
