We stayed at a different lodge who offered excursions with Ian Anderson and we were not disappointed. We did the black hole drop which exhausting and amazing. They told us at the beginning that we must take 2 of the large bottles of water with us and if we drink a lot of water we should take at least 3. I had wished I had taken at least 3 as I went through my 2 quicker then anybody else. It is a tough climb but worth it and the decent into the sink hole is amazing. The guides were great. My kids tried but inevitably they were just a bit to afraid to actually do the repelling into the sink hole. Two of the guides walked them back the way we came and met the rest of us where we get out of the hole and we had lunch. It was a trip we will remember. We also spent a day cave tubing and zip lining . The cave tubing was great. It was our family and one other person along with two guides. The trip on the tractor to get to the start was just as fun as the tubing itself. It was so beautiful, peaceful and quite. We were really able to get away and connect with nature. It was great. The zip lining was fun but just ok. It was short and quick compared to other zip lines we have done but the mosquito's were so bad (we were there during the rainy season) that we were ok with how quick it was. The lunch they served us on this excursion was delicious and when the woman with us made it knows that she was a vegetarian they were very quick to accommodate her. We also spent a day at the ruins of Xunantunich. That was also a highlight and we loved our time. The guides on all our excursions were phenomenal. We would love to go back one day soon as there were a few other tours (ATV and waterfall) that we didn't get to do and very much want to. If you want a great experience in the jungle of Belize then Ian Anderson's Cave's Branch Adventures are the way to go.
