Very interesting and lots of fun to see how the green iguana is being protected. The naturalist was very instructive and the one hour tour (associated with the San Ignacio Hotel) allows you to be up close and personal with the iguanas.

We enjoyed getting to meet and greet the iguanas up close. The staff was fantastic and we had a fun encounter. We fed the larger ones and got to hold the smaller ones. My kids loved it.

My wife and I had a great time learning about Iguanas and the efforts to improve their populations in the wild. Definitely worth the stop at San Ignacio hotel and a perfect compliment to San Ignacio market day.

We remain skeptical about the conservation value of this 'project', but we can't deny how much fun the experience was for both young and old. The photos - those we took, and those the guide took for us - are awfully fun too!

Not to be missed - fun for everyone - can be found in San Ignacio Hotel. The iguanas are very sweet and there are plenty of opportunities to handle them and take photos.
