“Awful road. Not such a good view.”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

We followed the signs at Pine Ridge to 1000 Foot Falls. It seems like a long, annoying road for such a poor view of the falls. Maybe there is a different viewpoint that we didn't know about?!

“1000` falls”
Reviewed 16 May 2014

If this to be one of Belize's Tourist attractions, It is very sad, run down ,garbage overflowing, no bathrooms so people are just going anywhere. As we understand the 1000` falls has been closed and had asked WHY? and were told to many incidents have happen there, well then if this is the case then it should be closed completely otherwise since tourism percent is up lets use our funds to bring this place back to life, they are not to many places to see or go on the mainland so WHY? wouldn't TOURISM BELIZE leave it like this it is a shambles, seriously consider or it will be lost forever.

“LONG bumpy drive”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Waterfall is beautiful, would have been great to be able to get closer, but so glad we were able to see this. Be prepared for a very long bumpy drive on a dirt road.

“long hard drive for a run down area with pretty falls”
Reviewed 22 March 2014

drive long and extremely rough road - visitor area at falls very run down and dirty. falls are great, but not really worth the effort of the drive (we come from an area with beautiful falls, so take that into account)

“Breathtaking”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Though you cant really go right up to the falls without some connections in-country it is definitely a sight to behold. Pristine waterfalls cascading for over a thousand feet with multiple rainbows created in the mist, nestled in the pine forest.
