Description: Rumfish y vino is centrally located in the Placencia Village Square. Overlooking the ballfield has a festive and breezy atmosphere, and a cool ecclectic soundtrack. A GASTRO-BAR Central American style. From tapas & wine...to frosty draft beers & fish tacos, there is something for everyone to enjoy! AMAZING handcrafted cocktails made from fresh fruit infusions and housemade extracts. Ginger, Cocomut, Pineapple, Watermelon Mojitos and more. Small plates style dining plus great entrees and fresh and inspired specials daily. A place for locals and tourists alike. Rumfish y vino proudly imports all of their own wines too. Outdoor and indoor dining, and a big central bar with comfortable seating for dining or just enjoying a few Watermelon Mojitos!

For my three-week stay in Placencia, based on reviews and local / expat reports, the best dining experience came down to choice between three candidates : Rumfish, Turtle Inn, Secret Garden.

Rumfish took the price - wellrun, quality food and the best vibe (incl playlist) -though not exciting to the point that i actually remember what i ate.

Loved the food and the service was great. Fish stew was incredible. The most expensive place we ate in the village, but I am glad we did.

Had heard good things about Rumfish. They all proved true on our first visit. Signature item of Snapper in Red Curry is just outstanding...not your typical curry.
Fish tacos great. Like Baja fish tacos but gourmet. Great service, fair prices.

We've been to Bar Harbor, Maine twice, but the lobster at Rumfish was way better! Our family loved everything we had. The only downside is that this was the only restaurant in Belize that cost us as much as eating in the U.S. would have. We spent about $120 for the four of us, but I would do it again. It was just outstanding.

Upstairs, in the Epicenter of the Village in Placencia, is a World Class Restaurant. First Class Seafood...possibly the best and freshest in Placencia. Serious drinks, and a strong wine list add to the meal. Excellent Service and attentive owners, make sure your time here is enjoyable.
