“Perfect end to a sailing cruise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 December 2013

Spent a week sailing with Tradewinds Cruises and the crew brought us here for our farewell dinner. We were seated at a table for 11 on the Terrace by the beach. The restaurant was beautiful and the setting spectacular.

The service was excellent - courteous and ever present without being intrusive.

The meals around me looked wonderful. My wife and I shared the Shrimp, Jicama and Pineapple salad. It was a delight and more than enough for 2 to share. We both opted for Barbecue Korean Beef after a week of fresh seafood but there were 8 or 10 entrees that looked and sounded great. A truly fine meal at a restaurant that we will revisit on every return to Belize.

Then there was the bartender whose name I was too foolish to note. He prepared a slightly dirty Bombay Saphire martini that should have had James Bond emerging from the sea to drink with me - quite wonderful - I was forced to drink a second in Bond's place.

Desserts were attractive but diabetes forced me to 'suffer" with a double espresso others partook.

A beautiful night - if you have chance, get there at least once - you will thank me for the recommendation.

“Foos that fits the environment”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 December 2013

As we were staying at the hotel, we had several meals at this restaurant. Every single one was excellent. We particularly liked dinner when they have a daily special. Even had turkey for Thanksgiving.
The staff is not always top notch but they are polite and do their best.
We were there several days and after a while we found that the breakfast menu became repetitive.
Wine was reasonably price and the cigars are kept at the good humidity level.

“Some of the best food I've ever had!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2013 via mobile

Loved this restaurant! The food was incredible. Everything we tried on the menu was excellent except the chicken Alfredo. But I would highly recommend the snapper or pork chops. The people are friendly and give great service. They are also equipped with a full bar with delicious drinks. Definitely recommend this place!

“Different than other places in Placencia”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

Excellent food. If you are on vacation and can use a different taste on your pallet than beans and rice, the asian twist in flavor at this restaurant is excellent. Service was the best in all of Placencia. Maybe a good idea to make reservations, especially during high season. They also offer a korean bbq, but this must be reserved in advance. Highly recommended!
