Went to the silk caye for a snorkel trip and it was well worth it. Great guide and good lunch provided. A fun day.

Pretty little island. Reef is not that colorful. Mostly olive green and brown. Not too many fish and the water was not crystal clear either. It was great to see the loggerhead turtle, but it did seem like the poor turtle was being harasses by all the snorkelers.

This is what diving should be about - lots of beautiful fish and coral, an exceptionally knowledgable and helpful dive master (Lisa), a very funny pilot (Randy). Only drawback is that dive site is over an hour away from the marina.

Island very, very small, way overcrowded. Snorkeling was good though. I got hundreds of sand flea bites on that trip, very unpleasant. Three weeks later they are still bothering me.

Saw Rays, Nurse Sharks, Sea Turtles, beautful reefs and tons of reef fish. The little island is pretty, too. The only downside was that this tiny island was overly croowded for lunch with three or four tour boats having lunch in parallel. The opposite of a peaceful experience. But the Snorkeling was outstanding. We have snorkeled in a lot of places from Mauritius, Seychelles, Bali, Turks, Tabago Keys, BVI etc., Silk Cay is definitely one of the best!
