Our one night stay at Americus Garden Inn was so enjoyable we plan to stay longer at another time. Beautiful old home and emaculately kept. Our linens were top quality; delightful to slip between the sheets after a long day's drive.

Susan is an amazing cook, and Kim is very knowledgeable about the area's long history.

Room Tip: Any room here would be stellar.

On day 9 of a 10-day motorcycle trip, my wonderful husband surprised me with a night at the Americus Garden Inn. What a treat! We began our stay by winding down in the gazebo swing in their lovely garden. So peaceful after days on the road. Susan showed us to our room with a birds eye view of the garden. The Inn was beautifully restored and decorated--full of history, southern charm and hospitality. Susan and Kim were gratious and knowledgeable about the area and its history. They made us feel welcome and totally at home. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The food was beautifully presented and delicious! Snacks and beverages were always available. The coffee, Susan's own blend, was so good that we purchased a bag to take home.Although we had only planned to stay one night, it was raining the next morning plus my husband wasn't feeling well and really needed a day of rest. Susan was truly concerned and convinced him to stay an extra day for some R&R. We spent a totally pleasant day just sitting in the house reading, relaxing and chatting with Kim and Susan. We like B&Bs and try to stay in them when we travel. This has been my favorite one--we'll definitely return!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Americus Garden Inn. Sometimes, it is just wonderful to have the time to sit back and relax with no specific plans for a day. We were so glad that you decided to stay an extra night which not only gave you a little rest time, but, gave us a chance to enjoy your company!

We look forward to seeing you again.
Warm regards,

I chose the Americus Garden Inn because it can accomodate people with celiac diseas. Wow was I in for a surprise. We were treated like their family. Kim met us outside to help with the bags. Directions were superb. The home is beautiful and feels like your grandmas home. It is filled with so much love. The food was to die for. My gluten free meal was home made muffins, salsa omelette, fruit, hot tea, juice. I was stuffed! She even gave me muffins for the road! The room was so clean and the sheets so soft. I highly recommend this B and B. You feel like Kim and Susan are instantly your friends and go the extra mile to make your stay wonderful :)

Room Tip: We chose the burgundy room. beautiful

Thank you for sharing your experience at the Americus Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast. I truly understand how difficult it can be for people with food allergies/intolerances, especially when they travel. I am so glad that you enjoyed the gluten free muffins and pancakes that I prepared for you. (My scone recipe actually did take a Top 10 Finalist spot in the Betty Crocker Gluten Free Challenge.) If you are interested, I have posted some gluten free recipes online that you can try at home.

I look forward to seeing you again when you return to Americus to visit family.
Warm regards,
Susan Egelseer

This is my third business trip to Americus and the best part of my trip was Americus Garden Inn B&B. The hosts Kim and Susan treat you like family. The house is beautiful and the breakfast is amazing, Having traveled for work throughout most of the US this is definitely one of my favorite places to stay.

This was our first experience in a B&B, and we chose the Americus Garden Inn because of all the glowing reviews. They were well deserved. Kim gave us excellent directions, and even met us outside and helped with our bags. Breakfast was divine, and made with love by Susan. (Homemade muffins and pancakes?! Yes, please!)

The atmosphere is so warm and inviting. Despite technically staying in someone's home and sharing a dining space with other guests, there was never a time where we felt as if lack of privacy was an issue. It was as if we were staying with friends. This gem is worth driving out of the way for, and we are already planning our next trip for this year. Kim and Susan, many thanks for opening your home to us.
P.S. I'm a slight germ-a-phobe. The cleanliness of the entire house was impeccable.

Room Tip: We loved the Scarlet suite for its size, sitting area, enormous bathroom and view. However, all of...

Take my advise everyone. KIM & SUSAN (owners) are the best when it comes to hospitality and B&B's. This is place is amazing and the owners make it so welcoming when u come, its like u never left home.

Fantastic service, rooms, atmosphere, and by far the best home made breakfast you have ever had. For example, im vegetarian and they accomidated each and every food need for me.

Definetly a memorable experience !!!
