We eat here at least 1 time per week. Food is great and is MILES ahead of the other Mexican options in Americus. Location is not good, no bar, and very small....I think that is what hurts them. I really hope they survive because their food is top notch.

We walked to the restaurant from the Americus Garden Inn... The food was delicious and ALOT of it. The service was on-point... We enjoyed our evening meal with the folks at El Jalapeno.
If you like Mexican this is the best of the 3 in Americus. fun atmosphere great music on Thursday nights and the food is very delicious. the salsa is a little too spicy for me but the queso cheese dip is great
Chips dripping with grease, margaritas from a mix, food too salty, but then again, I'm pretty health conscious and picky. Service was great!
Yes, there is. El Jalapeño is good, solid food. Great pricing, good food, service was excellent. Food could be a bit spicier, but the thin tortilla chips and the spicy salsa were great.
