We stayed at the Hampton in early April 2006 and have no complaints at all. The rooms were clean and modern and the buffet breakfast was plentiful and very varied. If you're looking for a downside, well the Hampton corporate 'symphony in brown' colour scheme is not especially uplifting, the windows don't open at all, and the outdoor pool had not yet opened when we were there. The hotel is on the eastern edge of town, so is quiet but there are still places you can walk to, such as the decent Mexican restaurant over the road. Next door is the nice-looking Holiday Inn Express and the other side is an equally good looking Jameson Inn (can't vouch for the quality of the rooms or service in either of these hotels, but we'd say they were worth inspecting for a cheaper rate).
