I liked this hotel, but it was a expensive compared to guatemala prices. There are not too many options in Livingston, so we chose this one. Overall, I was pleased.
pros: the owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was great, but a bit pricey. The pool was well maintained and fantastic. The rooms had fans and A/C. The washrooms were very clean. They had mosquito nets. They had a dock for lanchas. Very beautiful premises.
cons: you have to walk about 30 min-40 min along the coast to get there. This is not their fault, but you do have to get your feet wet along the path and go through some undeveloped areas. There were blood stains on the white walls from people swatting the mosquitos against the walls. They need to clean those walls or paint over them.
