we decided on Casa Rosada due to the good reviews and we were not disappointed. It has a really lovely and very laid back feel to it and is well managed. Staff are very friendly and appreciate if you make an effort knowing a few words in spanish.
We loved it and would not think twice about coming back. Food is also very good but you might try some local cafes further up in centro which serve lovely local food at very reasonable prices.
