“BEST ON THE ISLAND..”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

It is worth the drive...we were lucky we stayed at Paya Bay as it was just around the bend and ate there twice, the staff is fun and the food is incredible. We had the lionfish and it is better than advertised (best fish I've ever had)...great place to sit over the water, eat and watch the sunset!!! GO...

“Private Paradise”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

We hired a driver to give the 4 of us a tour of the island for the day and this was our lunch stop. As others have stated, it is a decent drive to the location, but you get to see and experience the lush tropical island in route and once you're seated at the restaurant enjoying the views and breezes over the water, you know it is worth it. One of their specialties is lionfish which we were excited to try and loved it - both the lighlty battered version as started (lionfish fingers) and then the grilled portion in a garlic/butter sauce - lightest, flakiest and non fish tasting fish ever. We even saw a small fishing boat pulling up to the dock to drop off some more very fresh fish for the cook. And if you're a fan of rum punch, give the one here a try - but probably just one if you are driving yourself. And make a stop at Camp Bay beach while you're here - a beautiful beach that you may likely have to yourself.

“Wonderful Food in a Beautiful Location”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Although it is a bit of a drive to La Sirena de Camp Bay, it is definitely worth the effort. We were lucky enough to be taken there by Jensen Wesley during our day trip with him. The food was amazing. It is a small little place out on a pier overlooking the beautiful water. I had the lionfish and it was simply the best fish I had ever eaten. I had never had lionfish before but was very excited to try it. Others at the table had the grilled shrimp and I understand it was also very good. We had fried lionfish fingers for an appetizer and it was also very good. If you have an opportunity to visit, I would definitely do so. The atmoshere, location and food can't be beat!

“What a great little spot”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

We decided to venture out to the east end on one of our many touring days on the island and this was well worth the drive. Had read some of the trip advisor comments before we got to the island so it was based on those comments that we decided to try it. They did not lead us astray as it was really good. We had lionfish ceviche and a whole yellow tail that was sauteed. Both were fresh and tasted amazing. Will go back the next time we are in Roatan... soon... very, very soon!
