Food was delicious! Atmosphere was even better! Jimmy and Sirena are great hosts in their super cool little restaurant. My only regret is that we weren't staying closer to this restaurant. Don't forget to try their rum punch!

If you get the chance La Sirena is a must do. Its a tiny restaurant on the water on the east end of Roatan. Our group of 11 came by boat which made for a great day on the water. The menu is small but the food is unique and delicious. We loved the lionfish ceviche, lobster, and island wings. Also, La Sirena has the best rum punch on the island hands down! The owner Jimmy is very nice and has some great stories to tell. If you go there and see an old beat up scarred dog give him a big hug because he is a survivor. Just ask the salt water croc that lost the battle.

It is worth the drive...we were lucky we stayed at Paya Bay as it was just around the bend and ate there twice, the staff is fun and the food is incredible. We had the lionfish and it is better than advertised (best fish I've ever had)...great place to sit over the water, eat and watch the sunset!!! GO...

We hired a driver to give the 4 of us a tour of the island for the day and this was our lunch stop. As others have stated, it is a decent drive to the location, but you get to see and experience the lush tropical island in route and once you're seated at the restaurant enjoying the views and breezes over the water, you know it is worth it. One of their specialties is lionfish which we were excited to try and loved it - both the lighlty battered version as started (lionfish fingers) and then the grilled portion in a garlic/butter sauce - lightest, flakiest and non fish tasting fish ever. We even saw a small fishing boat pulling up to the dock to drop off some more very fresh fish for the cook. And if you're a fan of rum punch, give the one here a try - but probably just one if you are driving yourself. And make a stop at Camp Bay beach while you're here - a beautiful beach that you may likely have to yourself.
