Wow. All i can say!!!! Gave us a great deal. Drove us to the bus. Drove us to the beach. Catered to our fruit diet. You should really stay here! The place was spotless. Family run. Added touches in our rooms everyday like the blanket in a different shape ! So cool.

We stayed at Hotel Nery for four days in April, our host not only picked us up, but was extremely helpful during our stay. Drove us to restaurants, rental car depot, etc. The hotel was very well maintained, clean and relaxing. The food was very good, delicious and different every day.
We will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel "LA CASA DE NERY", I must say, immaculate. such a quiet, beautiful, and clean place. The owner, Nery was the best host ever. The food was so delicious, consisted of fresh fruits, pancakes, honduran refried beans, eggs and white cheese. We were craving pancakes and Nery made sure we got them. Thank you Nery for spoiling us.

We were so impressed with the large, clean, spacious and luxurious rooms. The bathrooms, wow, so amazing, wish I had them here at home. When you are in the bathroom you feel like you are in the rainforest. Nery is so talented he has done an extraordinary job, at making "Casa De Neryothe best in La Ceiba, Honduras.

Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: all rooms are perfect

I am from the US and went to La Ceiba to meet with a Pastor and his wife. They are from a small town in Honduras and rarely get an opportunity to take time to relax and unwind. We had worked together in the past, and I wanted to treat them to some thing luxurious but being on a budget, I knew I had my work cut out for me. Well I ran across "La Casa de Nery". I truly don't know how I found them as they are listed under Bed and Breakfast, which they are not. It is a wonderful, exquisite hotel. The rooms are all beautiful and so well appointed. I have never seen such a spacious room and even with two very large beds, the rooms still have so much space. Everything is clean, nice and so charming. The bathroom has a shower that looks like you are in the middle of a rain forest. The shower comes directly down. I truly have never seen such an extraordinary shower arrangement. When I travel, I feel happy if the room comes close to my room and bathroom at home > but in La Casa de Nery, the room and bathroom exceed my expectations.

Additionally, because we were meeting friends, Nery offered to cook our lunch so that we did not have to go out. (Who would want to leave the views of the beach and the gorgeous yard?).
He cooked for us a Seafood soup and Garlic Shrimp with typical Honduran sides. The food was beyond delicious and the price was half of what you would expect some where else.

Nery took us where ever we had to go and I found this hotel so very reasonable that I long to return to La Ceiba just to visit La Casa de Nery again. He and his staff make you feel like family.

Room Tip: All rooms are the same but one does have two windows instead of one.

I'm a Gringo and have pretty high standards. Usually, when I travel to Honduras, I'm disappointed. I will never stay anywhere else again in La Ceiba. One cannot help but relax in this beautiful, well-appointed artisan hotel.

The owner, Neri, has done a beautiful job with incredible attention to detail. He has created eight large custom rooms, each slightly different, with river stone walls, tastefully colored lighting, large flat-screen TVs, and two large sumptuous beds. Each room is similar, but slightly different.

And the BATHROOMS! Complete with Price Pfister rain shower heads, an innovative drainage system that allows for beautiful jungle plants, tastefully done clear glass sink and shower, and clean, expensive linens, you will want to wallow in the luxuriousness of the shower in your room. It feels like an outdoor shower in the rainforest.

This hotel has a large, open deck facing the ocean. I sat on the deck drinking a cerveza with the chilled-out owner and his sweet Mother, who helps with the property, and all of my stress evaporated. Between the deck and the ocean is a manicured lawn, perhaps 50 yards long, with a custom-built kids' swimming / playing area that is PERFECT for families with young children. The lawn wraps around to the left of the deck, too, offering a TON of space. I could have sat on that deck for a week, just decompressing.

I appreciated the fact that the owner had built the place to be accessible to handicapped people, too, which is rare in Honduras. The large Champas has tastefully done wooden ramps underneath, so you walk / wheelchair up from the enclosed parking area up to the front desk (which is built with recycled rainforest wood). This place would be great for a wedding, too.

They served us a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, plantains, eggs, beans, coffee, and fresh juice. They do not serve lunch or dinner but there are several good restaurants within a few blocks, including Mango Tango across the street.

Beauty? Check. Safety? Check. Relaxation? Check times 3. Value? Well, at $100 USD including taxes, this place is a steal especially compared to the nearby Quinta Real Hotel, which costs $140 and isn't nearly as nice. Don't go here if you want to party hearty. It's not that kind of place. Go here if you want to relax and spend some time with your family.

BRAVO!!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms have AC and are beautifully appointed.
